The Swedish Football Association is the governing and body of football in Sweden. It organises the football leagues – Allsvenskan for men and Damallsvenskan for women – and the men's and women's national teams. It is based in Solna and is a founding member of both FIFA and UEFA. SvFF is supported by 24 district organisations.
Torbjörn Anders Nilsson is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a striker. Considered one of the best Swedish footballers of all time, he is best remembered for his time with IFK Göteborg with which he won two Swedish championship titles, the 1981–82 UEFA Cup, and reached the semi-finals of the 1985–86 European Cup. He also represented PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands and 1. FC Kaiserslautern in Germany during a career that spanned between 1971 and 1990. He represented his country at the 1978 FIFA World Cup and was the 1982 recipient of Guldbollen.
Nils Lennart Roland Nilsson is a Swedish professional football manager and former player. He was most recently the head coach of Allsvenskan club IFK Göteborg. As a player, Nilsson played 116 games for Sweden, making him the sixth most capped player in the Swedish national team. He also won the UEFA Cup and played in the semi-finals of the World Cup, the European Championships, and the European Cup during a playing career lasting over two decades. He won his first major honour as a manager in 2010 with Malmö FF when the team won Allsvenskan. On 1 April 2011 Copenhagen confirmed Nilsson as the club's new manager to replace Ståle Solbakken who left Copenhagen to become manager of 1. FC Köln in the summer of 2011. Nilsson joined Copenhagen on 1 June 2011 but was sacked after six months on 9 January 2012.
Andreas Claes Andersson is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a striker. He was the Allsvenskan top scorer with IFK Göteborg when they won the 1996 Allsvenskan, and went on to represent Milan, Newcastle United, and AIK before retiring in 2005. A full international between 1996 and 2003, he scored 8 goals in 43 caps for the Sweden national team, and represented them at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
Mikael "Micke" Nilsson is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder and defender. He is best remembered for representing Halmstads BK, Panathinaikos, and Brøndby. A full international between 2002 and 2009, he played 64 matches for Sweden and was a part of their UEFA Euro 2004, 2006 FIFA World Cup, and UEFA Euro 2008 squads.
Jan Mikael Nilsson is a Swedish former footballer who played as a defender. He most notably played for IFK Göteborg with which he won six Swedish Championships and played in the UEFA Champions League. A full international between 1991 and 1996, he won 22 caps for the Sweden national team and represented his country at UEFA Euro 1992 and at the 1994 FIFA World Cup where Sweden finished third.
Per Jörgen Nilsson is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Starting off his career with IFK Timrå in 1998, he went on to represent GIF Sundsvall, AIK, Odd Greenland, 1899 Hoffenheim, and 1. FC Nürnberg before retiring at F.C. Copenhagen in 2016. A full international between 2001 and 2016, he won 16 caps for the Sweden national team.
