Cast Iron Hike was an American punk rock band from Clinton, Massachusetts, United States.
Cast Iron Hike was formed after the breakup of Worcester hardcore band Backbone, and featured that group's drummer (Dave Green) and guitarist (Chris Pupecki). [1] They began by playing shows on the East Coast before releasing material in the mid and late 1990s in rapid succession, including EPs on Big Wheel Recreation and Trustkill Records, as well as a full-length on Victory Records. The group split up in the winter of 1997. Since then, guitarist Michael Gallagher went on to join Isis and to start MGR; Chris Pupecki currently plays guitar in both Doomriders and Blacktail; Dave Green is a university professor and the author of When Children Kill Children: Penal Populism and Political Culture (Oxford University Press); singer Jake Brennan has continued as a solo artist and as a member/producer of Bodega Girls; Pete deGraaf has played bass in a number of bands, such as Villain and CLEARTHEWAY, and works as a sound engineer.
Poison the Well is an American metalcore band from Miami, Florida who were last signed to Ferret Music. In 2010, they announced a hiatus to explore other interests. Lead guitarist Ryan Primack and drummer Christopher Hornbrook were the only remaining founding members, although vocalist Jeffrey Moreira featured on all five of their full-length albums. The band has since performed several reunion shows: two in 2015, eleven in 2016 and one in 2020. Their albums have sold a combined total of over 300,000 copies in the United States as of 2012.

The band are straight edge.
Iron Monkey is an English sludge metal band that formed in Nottingham in 1994. The original members were Justin Greaves, Johnny Morrow (vocals), Jim Rushby, Steve Watson and Doug Dalziel. The group's sound was influenced by the doom metal and sludge metal genres and in particular by bands such as Grief, Black Sabbath and Eyehategod.

The band attracted controversy in the late 1990s, before any releases, as a result of their radical take on racial politics, which focused on ideas like systemic racism and white privilege before they were widely discussed topics in popular or underground culture. Racetraitor was also a key proto-metalcore act, one of the first few bands to incorporate extreme metal influences, such as death metal, grindcore, and doom metal, into hardcore.
