Catalepsy is an American deathcore band formed in 2004. They have released one EP, Godless, and three studio albums, Iniquity, Bleed and Abomination of Desolation. [1]
Catalepsy was founded in 2004 as a thrash/metalcore three-piece. From August 2006 the band's sound moved towards deathcore. They entered the studio in September and recorded two demo songs. In 2008, the band finished a tour with Hatebreed for their Live Dominance DVD release. They completed their first studio album, Iniquity, in January 2008. The album was released on May 13, 2008. [2] In early 2008, the band recorded a music video for their song "Trust". It premiered on MTV's Headbangers Ball . In late 2008, Drew Carothers left the band and was replaced by Josh Anderson of the Florida band Iamdivide. The band continued to tour with bands including After the Burial, Oceano, Too Pure to Die, Waking the Cadaver and Rose Funeral.
In October 2010, during the recording of Bleed, Josh Anderson left the band. He was replaced by Rick Norman, formerly of In The Ruins, also a past member of Catalepsy. On December 3, 2010, the band released the first single from Bleed called "Infernal". [3] On February 26, 2011, the band announced a music video for the track "Bleed" due in the album release of May 10, 2011. Bleed was released on May 10, 2011 through Eulogy Recordings.
In late 2011, vocalist Rick Norman left the band and Josh Anderson returned in his place. On December 28, 2011, the band released a song titled "Westboro" that thematised the Westboro Baptist Church.
Catalepsy disbanded in 2013 but re-formed in September 2014 shortly. Catalepsy were writing new material in 2021 for an upcoming single, featuring all original members from the beginning of the band’s formation.
...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, are an American alternative rock band from Austin, Texas, formed in 1994. The band's earliest stable lineup consisted of Conrad Keely, Jason Reece, Kevin Allen and Neil Busch, though for most of the band's history Keely and Reece were the core members with other musicians serving for varying lengths of time. Trail of Dead had a cult following and were known for their energetic and protracted live performances. Between 1998 and 2023, the band released eleven studio albums and five EPs along with one live album and twenty-two singles. Since forming, they have released three EPs and two full-length studio albums, the first being At Daggers Drawn, which was released on April 29, 2008 on Sumerian Records, and the second being Wonderland, released on December 14, 2010 on Blkheart Group. The digital version of Wonderland, featuring a bonus track, was released January 4, 2011. Desolation of Eden is the debut studio album by American deathcore band Chelsea Grin. It was released February 16, 2010 through Artery Recordings. Upon its release, the album peaked at #21 on the Top Heatseekers chart. Desolation of Eden features two re-recordings of the songs "Cheyne Stokes" and "Recreant" which were originally on the band's self-titled EP.

Dear Desolation is the fourth studio album by Australian deathcore band Thy Art Is Murder. The album was released on 18 August 2017 by Nuclear Blast. The record is the band's last album with founding drummer Lee Stanton, as well as the first to feature Kevin Butler on bass.
