Cathleen McGuigan was editor in chief of the American magazine Architectural Record [1] from 2011 to 2022, having previously served as an architecture critic and arts editor at Newsweek . Her writing has been published in The New York Times Magazine , Smithsonian , Harper's Bazaar , and Rolling Stone . McGuigan has also taught at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. Finbar PatrickMcGuigan MBE is an Irish boxing promoter and former professional boxer. Born in Clones, Ireland, McGuigan was nicknamed The Clones Cyclone and held the WBA and lineal featherweight titles from 1985 to 1986. At regional level he also held the British and European featherweight titles between 1983 and 1985. In 1985, McGuigan became BBC Sports Personality of the Year. In 2005 he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

The Pollock-Krasner Foundation was established in 1985 for the purpose of providing financial assistance to individual working artists of established ability. It was established at the bequest of Lee Krasner, who was an American abstract expressionist painter and the widow of fellow painter Jackson Pollock. Krasner left approximately $23 million in cash, securities, and art to the foundation.
Ground Components were an Australian soul, punk rock band. Formed December 2002 by Indra Adams on bass guitar, Joe McGuigan on lead vocals and guitar, Simon McGuigan on drums and Dallas Paxton on keyboards. Interest in the Architecture of Las Vegas began in the late 1960s, when in 1967 architects Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown traveled to the city accompanied by students in order to study its architecture. It is named after James Charles McGuigan, a Canadian Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church and the Archbishop of Toronto from 1934 to 1971. The Austin United States Courthouse is a federal courthouse in downtown Austin, Texas. Built between 2009 and 2012, the building houses the Austin division of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas and other federal judicial offices. Sheng was president of the American Institute of Architects San Francisco, the first Asian American Woman to serve in this role in the organization’s 136 years. She is the founding chair of Equity by Design, originating author of AIA Resolution 15-1 Equity in Architecture, a member of the AIA Equity in Architecture Commission, and a frequent speaker, writer, and campaigner for equity and inclusion.
