The Benjamin G. Dy Sports Complex, [2] also known as Cauayan City Sports Complex, is a complex of sport facilities located at the city of Cauayan, Isabela. [3]

History

The 300-hectare complex was located at Brgy. Cabaruan, but later moved its location to Brgy. Tagaran. Mayor of Cauayan Bernard Dy said that the government will secure a loan from Land Bank of the Philippines. The ₱300 Million will be for construction of Sports Complex, while ₱100 Million for road infrastructures and lighting facilities. [4] It was initially named Cauayan City Sports Complex by 2016, then later named Benjamin G. Dy Sports Complex in honor of the late Governor of Isabela, Benjamin Dy. It is the largest infrastructure in the Philippines, in which highlights the sustainable development goals by United Nations, and reflects the strong support of city government in realizing the objectives of these global goals. Cauayan Airport is an airport serving the general area of Cauayan, a city in Isabela province in the Philippines. It is one of three commercial airports in Isabela, the other being Palanan Airport in the town of Palanan and Maconacon Airport in the town of Maconacon. It is classified as a secondary airport, or a minor commercial domestic airport, by the Air Transportation Office, a body of the Department of Transportation that is responsible for the operations of not only this airport but also of all other airports in the Philippines except the major international airports.

The Cauayan City National High School is a public educational institution established in Cauayan, Isabela, Philippines. It was established on June 3, 1997 as an extension of Cauayan Polytechnic College, now Isabela State University-Cauayan Campus.

The Anna Stadium is a stadium at the Anna Sports Complex located in the Indian city of Tiruchirappalli. The main football and athletics stadium, Anna Stadium, has a capacity of 10,000. Constructed in 1970, it is spread over an area of 31.25 acres (12.65 ha). The complex also houses a multi-purpose indoor stadium and has separate courts for sports such as tennis, badminton, basketball, football, kabaddi, hockey, and volleyball. Silvestre Bello III

Silvestre "Bebot" Hernando Bello III is a Filipino businessman and lawyer from Isabela. He is the current Secretary of the Philippines' Department of Labor and Employment and concurrently Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process. Bello was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte to replace Rosalinda Baldoz in the secretaryship. Bello was a former Justice Secretary, Solicitor General and representative of 1-BAP party-list during the 16th Congress of the Philippines.

Luzia Jannie Estrella Dy-Gonzales, widely known as Luane Dy, is a Filipino showbiz television personality, model and actress. She is known for being the host of GMA Network's morning television show Unang Hirit where she, along with her co-hosts, received the Best Morning Show Hosts award during the 29th PMPC Star Awards for Television in 2015. She also presents showbiz news on Balitanghali and used to anchor "Chika Minute," the entertainment news segment of 24 Oras Weekend.

The Bukidnon Sports and Cultural Complex is a complex of sport facilities located at the city of Malaybalay, Bukidnon, under construction.
