The Leinster Junior Club Football Championship is a Gaelic football competition between the winners of the Junior football competitions in 10 counties of Leinster, the Intermediate football champions of Kilkenny, the Intermediate football runners-up of Longford and the Senior football champions of Europe. The winner then contests the All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship semi finals against the winners from one of the other three provinces.

The Ulster Junior Club Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by Ulster GAA. It is played between the Junior championship winners from each of the nine counties of Ulster. The competition has a straight knock-out format. It was first held in 2001 as an unofficial tournament, and has been organised by Ulster GAA since 2004. The winners are awarded the Paul Kerr Cup. The winners go on to represent Ulster in the All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship.

Rock St Patrick's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based near the village of Rock in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

The Cavan Junior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition contested by lower-tier Cavan GAA clubs. It was first competed for in 1913. The winner qualifies to represent their county in the Ulster Club Championship and in turn, go on to the All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship. The current champions are Arva after beating Knockbride in the 2023 final.

The Down county hurling team represents Down GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association, in the Gaelic sport of hurling. The team competes in the Joe McDonagh Cup and the National Hurling League.

Conor Moynagh is an Irish business-man and Gaelic footballer who played for the Cavan county team, from Minor to Senior, since 2009. He plays his club football with Drumgoon Eire Og in Cavan, having also played overseas in Boston, Chicago, Middle East and New Zealand.

James K. O'Donnell was an Irish Gaelic footballer who played for a number of club sides, including Cootehill Celtic, and at inter-county level with the Leitrim and Cavan senior football teams.
