Cecilia Lundqvist (born 1971 in Eskilstuna) is a Swedish artist, working exclusively with animation. [1] She is best known for the short films "Trim" (1997), "Souvenir" (1999) and "Emblem" (2001). In 2004 she received Filmform's Honorary Award . [1]

Lundqvist's films can be found in the collections of Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris [2] and Moderna Museet in Stockholm. [3]

Maman (1999) is a bronze, stainless steel, and marble sculpture by the artist Louise Bourgeois. The sculpture, which depicts a spider, is among the world's largest, measuring over 30 ft high and over 33 ft wide (927 x 891 x 1024 cm). It includes a sac containing 32 marble eggs and its abdomen and thorax are made of ribbed bronze.
