The Centenary Gentlemen baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport, Louisiana, United States. The team is a member of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division III. Prior to 2011, Centenary was a member of the NCAA Division I, and competed in the Summit League. The Gentlemen are coached by Mike Diaz. In 2013, the Gents won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season, the school's first regular season championship since 1988. The Gents repeated as SCAC regular season champions in 2015.

The team plays its home games in Shreveport at Shehee Stadium. The stadium, originally named Centenary Park, was completely renovated in 2000 under then Centenary baseball head coach Ed McCann and renamed Shehee Stadium. [2]

Centenary College of Louisiana

Centenary College of Louisiana is a private college in Shreveport, Louisiana. The college is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Founded in 1825, it is the oldest chartered liberal arts college west of the Mississippi River and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

The Centenary Gentlemen basketball team represents Centenary College, located in Shreveport, Louisiana, in NCAA Division III men's basketball competition. The "Gentlemen" nickname is exclusive to men's athletes and teams; Ladies is used for women's teams and athletes. The team is a member of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, which is part of the NCAA Division III. Prior to 2011, Centenary was a member of the NCAA Division I, and competed in the Summit League.

The Millsaps Majors is the nickname for the sports teams of Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi and their colors are purple and white. They participate in the NCAA's Division III and the Southern Athletic Association.

Trinity Tigers

The Trinity Tigers is the nickname for the sports teams of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. They participate in the NCAA's Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). The school mascot is LeeRoy, a Bengal tiger. In the 1950s, LeeRoy was an actual tiger who was brought to sporting events, but today LeeRoy is portrayed by a student wearing a tiger suit. Early in its history, the school participated in Division I/II athletics, but by 1991 the entire program made the move to Division III, at which time it joined the SCAC.

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and Lady Techsters, commonly abbreviated La. Tech and Dawgs, refer to the sports teams of Louisiana Tech University, in Ruston, Louisiana. The teams compete in Division I of NCAA sports. Since 2013, Louisiana Tech has been a member of Conference USA (C-USA).

The San Diego Toreros baseball team is the varsity intercollegiate baseball program of the University of San Diego, located in San Diego, California, United States. The program has been a member of the NCAA Division I West Coast Conference since prior to the 1985 season. Since 2013, its home venue has been Fowler Park, located on the University of San Diego campus. Rich Hill has been the program's head coach since prior to the 1999 season. As of the end of the 2012 season, the team has appeared in seven NCAA Tournaments, all since 2002. It has won four conference championship series, three regular season conference championships, and two regular season division championships. As of the start of the 2014 Major League Baseball season, 15 former Toreros have appeared in Major League Baseball.

Centenary Gentlemen football

The Centenary Gentlemen football team represented Centenary College of Louisiana. The school's teams were known as the Gentlemen or 'Gents'. They have not competed in football since 1941. It last competed as a member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

Ronnie Allen McCollum II is a former American professional basketball player and current coach. McCollum has had a successful international career, but it was his collegiate career playing for the Centenary Gentlemen basketball team between 1997–98 and 2000–01 for which he is best known.

The Citadel Bulldogs Sports teams of The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina

The Citadel Bulldogs are the athletic teams that represent The Citadel. All sports participate in the NCAA Division I except football, which competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). Since 1936, varsity sports have competed in the Southern Conference. The Citadel fields teams in sixteen sports, nine for men and seven for women.

The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers are the athletics teams for Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, located in Terre Haute, Indiana, United States. The Fightin' Engineers athletic program is a member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and competes at the NCAA Division III level.

LSU–Shreveport Pilots

LSU Shreveport (LSUS) teams are known as the Pilots. The university is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), competing in their second stint as a member of the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). The Pilots formerly competed in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) from 2003–2010. Men's sports include baseball, basketball, cross country and soccer. Women's sports include basketball, cross country, soccer and tennis. The LSUS Athletic program has produced many championship teams collecting nine regular season conference titles, 16 conference tournament championships, and competed in 31 NAIA National Tournaments.

The 1927 Centenary Gentlemen football team represented the Centenary College of Louisiana during the 1927 college football season. Centenary posted an undefeated 10–0 record and beat four Southwestern Conference schools. It is one of the school's best ever teams.
