Central Square is a shopping centre in the town centre of Ballarat. [1] It includes a multi-storey car park that is free of charge for stays of up to 2 hours.
Ballarat is a city located on the Yarrowee River in the Central Highlands of Victoria, Australia. The city has a population of 101,588.
Central Square opened on 28 April 1988 on the site of the former Town Hall Hotel. Initially it was located next door to a free standing Myer department store, which had opened in 1905. Myer was later connected to the centre on the 1st level. Myer celebrated 100 years in Ballarat in 2005. [2]
