Kamal Haasan is an Indian actor, film director, film producer, screenwriter, choreographer, playback singer, lyricist, television presenter, social activist and politician who works mainly in Tamil cinema. Besides Tamil, he has also appeared in some Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Bengali films. Vivekanandan, known professionally as Vivek, was an Indian actor, comedian, television personality, playback singer and social activist who worked in the Tamil cinema. From the school of director K. Balachander, he is a recipient of three Filmfare Awards South, six Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and two SIIMA Awards. Considered to be one of the most legendary artists in Tamil Cinema for his unique comedy style, which consisted of one-liners and word play that featured social and political satire, led to critics comparing him to N. S. Krishnan and earning him the nickname Chinna Kalaivanar.
Nagesh (born Cheyur Krishnarao Nageshwaran; was an Indian actor and comedian mostly remembered for his comic roles in Tamil films during the 1960s. Nagesh was born in Dharapuram. He acted in over 1,000 films from 1958 to 2008, performing in a variety of roles as comedian, lead roles, supporting actor and antagonist. He has also acted in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada films. Nagesh's style of comedy was largely inspired by Hollywood actor Jerry Lewis. Similarities between Nagesh and Lewis earned Nagesh the sobriquet the "Jerry Lewis of India". He was also nicknamed as the King of Comedy due to his impeccable comedy timing and body language. He featured regularly in the film projects of M. G. Ramachandran and Sivaji Ganesan even at a time when there was a massive rift between the two leading actors in Tamil cinema at that time.
Amar Choudary, known professionally as Jiiva, is an Indian actor and film producer who works mainly in Tamil cinema and a few Hindi and Malayalam films. He is the youngest son of film producer R. B. Choudary. He began his career as a child actor in 1991 in films produced by his father. He made his debut as a lead actor in his father's 50th production, Aasai Aasaiyai (2003). After Sivaji Ganesan, Jiiva is the only Tamil actor to have been awarded at the Cyprus International Film Festival, particularly for his performance in Raam (2005).

Santhanam Neelamegam is an Indian actor and film producer who mainly works in Tamil cinema. Nithin Sathya is an Indian actor, film producer. He works primarily in Tamil Cinema. He made his film debut in Kalatpadai, directed by J. Ramesh, in 2003. He acted with Kamal Hassan in a small role in the Tamil comedy film Vasool Raja MBBS, directed by Saran. His next film was Ji (2005), with Ajith Kumar, directed by N. Linguswamy.

Sathyan Sivakumar and known mononymously as Sathyan, is an Indian actor and comedian who works in Tamil cinema. He is the only son of veteran producer, Madhampatty Sivakumar. Making debut as a junior artist in the movie Poovum Puyalum and as lead in Ilaiyavan, he subsequently has been appearing mainly in supporting and comedic roles in over sixty Tamil films.
Payanam (transl. Journey) is a 2011 Indian action thriller film that was written and directed by Radha Mohan. It was simultaneously filmed in Tamil and Telugu languages, the latter being titled Gaganam (transl. Sky). The film's plot is based on a flight hijacking incident. Payanam's cast includes Nagarjuna, Prakash Raj, Poonam Kaur, Sana Khan, Rishi, Brahmanandam and Thalaivasal Vijay. The film was co-produced by Raj and Dil Raju, and was released on 11 February 2011 to critical and commercial success.
Ramalakshmanan Muthuchamy professionally known as Soori, is an Indian actor and comedian who predominantly appears in Tamil film. Debuted in 1998 and acted in several uncredited roles and got his major breakthrough in 2009 with film Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, where his parotta comedy received huge reception earning him an identity Parotta Soori. After a decade of successful career as comedian, he turned as lead actor with Vetrimaaran's Viduthalai (2023), which got a critical acclaimed and commercial success with Part 1 and Garudan (2024).

Aarthi Ganeshkar, also known as Harathi is an Indian actress, comedian and television host who works in Tamil films and television dramas. His way of speaking in the movies is completely of Nellai slang, which shows him unique to other supporting actors. He has acted in over 500 films in his career.
