Chad is a fictional character from Saturday Night Live , portrayed by Pete Davidson.
The character was created by and is played by Pete Davidson. [1] He first appears in the SNL skit "Pool Boy," which is part of the episode that aired on April 16, 2016. He has no known last name.
The name Chad has been used during the last couple of decades as slang for a range of male stereotypes, which the SNL character plays on ironically.
Chad is an easily-distracted, chill, apathetic man. In the sketch "Pool Boy," it's stated that he's 23. The sketches depict him doing various things such as going to a Narnia-like world through his closet, being targeted by a serial killer, going to a haunted mansion, touring with RuPaul, and going on a SpaceX mission. He is oblivious to the things that are about to happen to him, and usually just responds with "OK" or "cool." He is usually well-liked by other characters, and even unintentionally saves the world in his SpaceX skit. [2] [3]
Chad was generally well-received by different sources. Entertainment Tonight described the character as "hilariously stupid," [4] and Rolling Stone described him as a "stereotypical stoner bro". [5]
Christopher Crosby Farley was an American comedian and actor. Farley was known for his loud, energetic comedic style, and was a member of Chicago's Second City Theatre and later a cast member of the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live for five seasons from 1990 to 1995. He later went on to pursue a film career, appearing in films such as Airheads, Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, Beverly Hills Ninja, and Almost Heroes.

Mango is a character performed by Chris Kattan on the American sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. Mango is a male exotic dancer who performed in a strip club. Kattan drew inspiration for the Mango character from actress Marlene Dietrich in the 1930 film The Blue Angel. Actors and guest hosts appearing on the program would become infatuated and drawn to Mango. These included David Duchovny, Ellen DeGeneres, Garth Brooks, and Cuba Gooding Jr.

Blizzard Man is a recurring sketch by Andy Samberg on the American television program Saturday Night Live. The sketch features Samberg as the title character who is brought in to recording studios to assist musicians with an in-progress song, only for them to find that his musical ability is limited to a cheesy parody of serious rap music. Despite this, the sketch always concludes with the artists recording with him anyway. Guests stars for the sketch in the past have included Ludacris, T-Pain, P. Diddy, Common, and 2 Chainz as themselves and Tim McGraw and Robert De Niro playing fictional characters.
John Edmund Mulaney is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Mulaney first rose to prominence for his work as a writer for the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 2008 to 2013, where he contributed to numerous sketches and characters, including Stefon, a recurring character that he and Bill Hader co-created. Since his departure from SNL, Mulaney has hosted it several times, becoming a member of the SNL Five Timers Club in 2022.

Stefon Meyers, simply referred to as Stefon, is a fictional character created by Bill Hader and John Mulaney and portrayed by Hader on Saturday Night Live, a sketch comedy show. Originally appearing in a 2008 sketch in an episode hosted by Ben Affleck, the character went on to become a correspondent on Weekend Update, SNL's recurring satirical news segment, in 2010. The character was based on real people Hader and Mulaney had encountered, including a club promoter and a barista at a coffee shop that Hader frequented. Described as a "city correspondent", when asked about recommendations for events and destinations to visit for tourists and others in New York City, Stefon would suggest unusual nightclubs and parties with bizarre characters and themes. As the lines for Weekend Update are read from cue cards, Mulaney would change the script before the live broadcast to make Hader break character.
