The film is an official remake of the French film I Do (2006) and is a spiritual successor to Nagarjuna's Manmadhudu (2002). The film opened up to negative reviews and became a box-office bomb.

Love Story is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language musical romantic-drama film written and directed by Sekhar Kammula.
