Chamber No. 9 is the fifth studio album by American rapper and Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck. It was released on July 12, 2019, through Traffic Entertainment. It features guest appearances by Cappadonna, Streetlife, Trife Diesel, Hellfire and Mz. Geminii. Production was handled by Boo Bundy and Danny Caiazzo.

Background

On May 16, 2019, Inspectah Deck announced he was working on a new album. [3]

On July 12, 2019, he released his first studio album since March 2010, entitled Chamber No. 9. [4] The same day, he released the first single of the album entitled "Game Don’t Change". [5]

Uncontrolled Substance is the debut studio album by American rapper and Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck. The album was released on October 5, 1999, under Loud Records. Originally slated for release in 1995, the record was indefinitely postponed after a flood destroyed over 100 beats in RZA's basement, including his original productions for the album. Eventually released four years later, Uncontrolled Substance received mostly positive reviews, and is Inspectah Deck's most critically acclaimed and most commercially successful album to date. The album features Wu-Tang Clan members U-God and Masta Killa, and appearances from lesser-known affiliates Street Life, Killa Sin, and LA the Darkman. A music video was made for the songs "Word on the Street" directed by Gregory Dark & "Show 'N' Prove" directed by Joseph Kahn. The album's liner notes state that it is dedicated to Inspectah Deck's late father, Frank Hunter.

7L & Esoteric (7LES) are an American underground hip hop duo from Boston, Massachusetts, known for battle rhymes and boom bap production. 7L is the duo's DJ/producer and Esoteric is the MC. 7L & Esoteric are both prominent members of underground hip-hop collectives Army of the Pharaohs and Demigodz, as well as being 2/3 of Czarface along with Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck.

Manifesto is the fourth studio album by American rapper, and Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck. The album was released on March 23, 2010, by Urban Icons Records and Traffic Entertainment Group. The album features guest appearances from Raekwon, Cappadonna, Cormega, Kurupt, Planet Asia, Termanology, Carlton Fisk, Billy Danze and Fes Taylor. Initially, the album was slated to be titled Resident Patient II, as a sequel to Inspectah Deck's 2006 album The Resident Patient. However, a mixtape entitled Resident Patient II leaked in 2008 that was not the actual product. Deck eventually changed the name of the project and is still planning to release his final album under the name The Rebellion. Manifesto is composed of songs originally cut from Resident Patient II.

"Wu-Tang Forever" is a song by Canadian rapper Drake from his third studio album Nothing Was the Same (2013). The song was released as the album's first promotional single on September 12, 2013. "Wu-Tang Forever" features a significant sample of "It's Yourz" by the Wu-Tang Clan. The song was produced by frequent collaborator Noah "40" Shebib. The song has since peaked at number 52 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Czarface is an American hip hop supergroup formed in 2013 by underground hip hop duo 7L & Esoteric and Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck. They released their acclaimed debut album, Czarface, on February 19, 2013. The album was followed by Every Hero Needs a Villain in 2015 and A Fistful of Peril in 2016, both of which were also praised by critics.
