Chanakya University is an Indian private not-for-profit, for-purpose collective philanthropy university located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The university provides liberal arts STEAM (sciences, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) based education aligned to the NEP 2020 established under the Chanakya University Act 2021 [1] [2] .The university is named after Chanakya, the ancient Indian political strategist and philosopher.
Former chairman of ISRO Dr S. Somanath is the chancellor of the university [3] .
Its contributors include Dr Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Dr Sitaram Jindal, Sajjan Jindal, Kris Gopalkrishnan, and CK Birla [4] .
