Chandana Dixit is a Bollywood playback singer who started her career as a dubbing artist and later went on to sing popular songs such as "Husn Hain Suhana" (Coolie No. 1), "Shahar Ki Ladki" ( Rakshak ), "Chumma Chumma" (Daanveer), "Tujhe Khaas Fursat" ( Auzaar ) and "Khul Gaya Naseeb" ( Bhai ). She has worked with music composers Anand–Milind and Anu Malik. She also recorded the title track of the television series Shagun which aired on Star Plus in the afternoon slot.

Dixit recorded the hugely popular song "Husn Hain Suhana" from the film Coolie No. 1, which was to be dubbed later by another singer. However, music composers Anand–Milind, producer Vashu Bhagnani, and director David Dhawan all felt that her version should be used as final track. She went on to sing other popular songs for the composer duo which included "Shahar Ki Ladki" from Rakshak .

Dixit moved to the U.S. state of Washington with her husband in 2002. As of 2014, she lives in Redmond, Washington, where she teaches music. [1]

Poornima Shrestha, also known as Sushma Shrestha, is an Indian playback singer. Starting as a child singer, she later reinvented into a leading playback singer in Bollywood during the 1990s. She started her career as a child singer in Ramesh Sippy's Andaz (1971) under legendary music director duo Shankar Jaikishan for the hit song "Hai Na Bolo Bolo" alongside Mohammed Rafi and Suman Kalyanpur. Throughout her childhood, she then worked with music composers of the golden era including Naushad, Madan Mohan, C. Ramchandra, Salil Choudhury, Anil Biswas, S.D. Sangeet (Music) is a 1992 Hindi film directed by K. Vishwanath starring Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles. Madhuri Dixit had a double role as mother and daughter; she later played similar dual mother and daughter role in AasooBaneAngarey, released a year later. Dixit's sensitive portrayal in Sangeet was appreciated; despite the film underperforming at the box office and is considered to be one of her best but underrated performances.

Coolie No. 1 is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by David Dhawan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. A remake of the 1995 film of the same name, the film stars Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan and Paresh Rawal. Principal photography began on 8 August 2019 in Bangkok. The film was set to be theatrically released in India on 1 May 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Later, it was released on 25 December, during Christmas on Amazon Prime Video.

Khandaani Shafakhana is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by debutante Shilpi Dasgupta, and starring Sonakshi Sinha and Badshah. The supporting cast includes Varun Sharma and Annu Kapoor. Principal photography began on 25 January 2019, and it was theatrically released in India on 2 August 2019. It was considered as a box office disaster due to its poor commercial performance.
