Michel George Malti was an American electrical engineer,known for his work in circuit analysis. He was born in Deir el Qamar,in modern-day Lebanon and died in Miami,Florida. Mark W. Spong is an American roboticist. He is a professor of systems engineering and electrical and computer engineering in the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering &Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). He served as dean of the Jonsson School and the Lars Magnus Ericsson Chair in Electrical Engineering from 2008 to 2017. Before he joined UTD,he was the Donald Biggar Willett Professor of Engineering,professor of electrical engineering,research professor of Coordinated Science Laboratory and Information Trust Institute,and director of Center for Autonomous Engineering Systems and Robotics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Stephen Edward Cross is the executive vice president for research (EVPR) at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech),a position to which he was appointed in 2010. As EVPR,Cross coordinates research efforts among Georgia Tech's colleges,research units and faculty;and provides central administration for all research,economic development and related support units at Georgia Tech. As of January 15,2021 he is the Dean of the College of Engineering and Southern Company Chair at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to becoming the Dean,he was the vice president for Interdisciplinary Research and the Motorola Foundation Professor and the executive director of Georgia Tech's online masters in cyber security program. Beyah is also the co-founder and chair of industrial security company Fortiphyd Logic,Inc.

Edl Schamiloglu is an American physicist,electrical engineer,pulsed power expert,inventor,and distinguished professor in the department of electrical and computer engineering at the University of New Mexico. He has been known in public media for his expertise in the design and operation of directed-energy weapons. He is also known for his assessment on the possible origins of alleged health damages presumably caused on U.S. embassy personnel in Cuba in 2016 as part of the Havana syndrome incident. He is the associate dean for research and innovation at the UNM School of Engineering,where he has been a faculty since 1988,and where he is also special assistant to the provost for laboratory relations. He is also the founding director of the recently launched UNM Directed Energy Center. Schamiloglu is a book author and co-editor,and has received numerous awards for his academic achievements. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the American Physical Society. Starting on July 1,2024,Schamiloglu was selected as Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science,where he succeeds Steven J. Gitomer who has held that role for over 40 years.

Theresa Anna Maldonado is an American electrical engineer and academic administrator serving as the vice president for research and innovation at the University of California since 2020. She has served as the president-elect of the American Association for the Advancement of Science since March 2024.
