Charles Pressley Smith

The Very Rev Charles Pressley Smith [1] was an eminent Anglican Priest in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. [2]

Born into an ecclesiastical family in Fraserburgh in 1862, [3] he was educated at Aberdeen University and ordained after a period of study at Edinburgh Theological College in 1885. Initially, he was a Curate at Edinburgh Cathedral and then Priest in charge of St Martin's, Edinburgh. [4] He was Rector of St John's, Oban and in 1897 became its Dean until 1987, a post he held until 1930. [5] He died on 9 September 1935.

John Taylor Smith

Rt. Rev. John Taylor Smith, was an Anglican bishop and military chaplain. He was the Anglican Bishop of Sierra Leone by the end of the 19th century and the Chaplain-General to the Forces from the year 1901 to 1925.

Ralph Johnson (bishop)

The Rt Rev Edward Ralph Johnson, DD, LLD, MA was an eminent Anglican priest in the second half of the 19th century.
He was born in 1828, educated at Wadham College, Oxford and ordained in 1850. His first post was a curacy in Farnborough, Warwickshire after which he was a Minor Canon at Chester Cathedral. He was Rector of Northenden and then collated Archdeacon of Chester in 1871 before being elevated to the Episcopate as Bishop of Calcutta in 1876 and Metropolitan of India. He retired in 1898 and died on 11 September 1912.

Frederick Goldie was a Scottish Anglican bishop.

The Right Reverend Ian George MacQueen Wilson, was an eminent Anglican Priest in the 20th century.
Born on 6 March 1920, he was educated at Edinburgh Theological College and ordained in 1951. Initially he was Curate of St Margaret's, Glasgow and then Priest in charge of St Gabriel's, in the same city. He held incumbencies at Christ Church, Dalbeattie, St John's, Baillieston and St Paul's, Rothesay. He was Synod Clerk for the Diocese of Argyll and The Isles from 1977 to 1979 and then its Dean until 1987. He died on 18 November 1988.

The Rt Rev. Mervyn Archdall, DD was the 7th Bishop of Killaloe, Kilfenora, Clonfert and Kilmacduagh.

Walter Jenks was an eminent Anglican priest in the first half of the 20th century. He was born in Lambeth on 26 May 1864, educated at King's College London and ordained in 1888. He held curacies at North Molton and Chipping Barnet. After this he was Assistant Missioner for the Diocese of St Albans and then Priest in charge of St Margaret's, Aberlour. He was Rector of St Ninian's, Glen Urquhart from 1928 until his death on 29 March 1935.

Very Rev. John Archibald was an eminent Scottish Anglican priest and author in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The Right Reverend Maurice Day DD MA was an Anglican bishop in the early 20th century.
