Charlie Staniland (born 12 November 2004) is an English footballer.
In 2012, Staniland joined Sheffield United's academy. [1] In July 2021, he signed a scholarship contract with Sheffield United. [2] After completing his scholarship, he signed a pro deal with the club in July 2023. [3]
In April 2024, Staniland signed a professional contract with Toronto FC II in MLS Next Pro. [1] [4] He made his debut on 19 April against New England Revolution II. [5] In May 2024, he joined the Toronto FC first team on a short-term loan on four occasions, ahead of league matches. [6] [7] [8] [9] On 23 May 2024, he scored his first goal for Toronto FC II in a match against Carolina Core FC. [10] Staniland's contract expired in November 2024. [11]
