Charlotte Vandermeersch (born in Oudenaarde on November 11, 1983) is a Flemish film director, screenwriter and actress.
Charlotte Vandermeersch graduated in 2005 from the Herman Teirlinck Institute in Antwerp as a Master in Dramatic Art.
In the first years she mainly played supporting roles and guest roles. In 2010, however, she landed two leading roles, in the television series Day & Night: Hotel Eburon and in the movie Turquaze. In 2012, she starred in the television series Deadline 14/10 as well as in its sequel, Deadline 25/5, which aired on VTM in the spring of 2014 could be seen. That year she also played the role of Linda Schools in the feature film Bowling Balls .
In 2016 she had a leading role in Belgica by Felix Van Groeningen.
In addition, from 2012 to 2020 she was permanently affiliated with the theater group LAZARUS.
She has a relationship with film director Felix Van Groeningen. In May 2018, they had a son together, Rufus. [1]
