Charu Asopa (born 27 February 1986) is an Indian television actress and vlogger. She is known for portraying Rajkumari Revati in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev , most loved Atkhati Pari in Baalveer , Preeti Srivastav Mere Angne Mein , Shravani "Piyali" Purohit in Jiji Maa [2] [3] and as Mridula in Kaisa Hai Yeh Rishta Anjana. Charu was often in the news for compatibility issues with her ex–husband Rajeev Sen, who is the younger brother of former Miss Universe and Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen. [4]

Personal life

Charu Asopa is originally from Bikaner, Rajasthan. Her father is retired from a Government job. She has 1 sister and 1 brother. She was initially married to a Marwari business man from Rajasthan in the year 2007. The marriage ended on November 2016 due to compatibility issues. Charu was then in a relationship with fellow actor Neeraj Malviya. The couple got engaged in Rajasthan. However the engagement was called off in 2017. In June 2019, she married Sushmita Sen's younger brother Rajeev Sen. [5] They have 1 daughter together. In July 2022, the couple initiated the process for legal termination of marriage and the divorce was finalized in June 2023. [4]
