Chase Baker (born May 21, 1988) is an American coach and former football defensive tackle. He played for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). Since 2022, he has been the defensive line coach for the Barcelona Dragons in the European League of Football (ELF).
Baker played college football at Boise State where he was a 3 year stater. He finished his career with 100 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and 13 TFLs. As part of the 2007 Boise State recruiting class, they accumulated a record of 50-3 and are considered the "Winningest Class in NCAA History." Baker received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management. [1]
In 2018, Baker graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Master's in Sport Management.
After being signed by the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League in 2012, he was subsequently cut as the Vikings reduced their roster to 53 players. [2] He was added to the practice squad the next day, where he spent the remainder of the 2012 season. [3] In 2013, Baker made the 53-man roster, and played in 5 games for the Vikings, contributing 2 tackles and 2 assisted tackles. In his two seasons with the Vikings, Baker primarily contributed on special teams and as a backup defensive tackle.
On April 7, 2015, Baker signed with the Ottawa RedBlacks of the Canadian Football League. By signing with Ottawa Baker joined three of his college teammates, Jerrell Gavins, Brandyn Thompson and Jon Gott. [4]
Fan Controlled Football hired Baker to coach the defensive line for the entire league during their inaugural 2021 season.
The Barcelona Dragons announced on January 11, 2022 his hire for the defensive line position. [5]
Prior to Baker's coaching career, he was selected by the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers for the Nunn-Wooten Scouting Fellowship in 2016.
La'Roi Damon Glover is an American professional football coach and former player who is the defensive line coach for the St. Louis BattleHawks of the United Football League (UFL). He played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). Glover played college football for the San Diego State Aztecs. He enjoyed a 13-year career in which he made six-consecutive Pro Bowls and was a four-time All-Pro selection. He spent five seasons with the New Orleans Saints (1997–2001), four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys (2002–2005) and finished his playing career with the St. Louis Rams (2006–2008).

Brandyn Thompson is an American college football coach and former cornerback. He is the cornerbacks coach for California State University, Sacramento, a position he has held since 2024. He was selected by the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL) in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL draft and was also a member of the Toronto Argonauts, Ottawa Redblacks, and Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Boise State.

During his tenure as head coach, Steeples was named the 2020 All-American Bowl National Coach of the year, 2019 MFCA Coach of the year, and led De Smet to an undefeated state championship title in 2019. During his final three seasons as head coach, Steeples amassed a record of 29–4, including 20 consecutive wins, back-to-back State Championship appearances, and a peak national ranking of #8 in the country.
