Cheri Dennis (born August 12, 1979), is an American R&B singer from Cleveland, Ohio.
Cheri Dennis was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and was initially a member of a girl group named Spoyled. When the group broke up, Dennis left Shaker Heights and moved to New York where she began her recording career.
Dennis first appeared on the Mase tracks "No Matter What", "All I Ever Wanted" and "If You Want to Party" from his album Double Up (1999), after running into Diddy during a party in New York City. After appearing briefly on Puff Daddy's Forever album ("Is This the End? (Pt. 2)") also in 1999, in 2001 she reappeared signed to Bad Boy Entertainment with her first solo track "So Complete" from the P. Diddy and The Bad Boy Family album "The Saga Continues...". Afterwards she was heard on several mixtapes, before finally releasing her first single, the Ryan Leslie produced track "I Love You", in fall 2005. The music video was filmed in March 2006 before premiering on BET's 106 & Park on May 1. "I Love You" peaked at No. 38 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. Dennis' second single "Portrait of Love" peaked at No. 55 before her debut album In and Out of Love finally released in February 2008, debuting at No. 74 on the Billboard 200. Her song "Ooh La La" was originally used as an opener for Making The Band 3 , which suggested that the final band recorded the song. The girls often referred to the song in competitions.
She now goes by Cheri Coke [1] and has collaborated with MeLo-X on "The Garden of Eden", it is a part of the tracklist that will appear on Dennis's second album "X/COKE".

Bad Boy Entertainment, doing business as Bad Boy Records, is an American record label founded in 1993 by Sean "Puffy" Combs. During the mid-1990s, the label signed hip hop and contemporary R&B artists, beginning with the Notorious B.I.G. Following his commercial success, the label signed other acts, including Faith Evans, Mase, 112, Total, The Lox, Shyne and Carl Thomas. At its 1997 peak, Bad Boy was worth an estimated US$100 million.
Mario Mendell Winans is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and record producer from South Carolina. An extended member of the Winans musical family, he is best known for his 2004 single "I Don't Wanna Know", which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100.
Making the Band is an ABC/MTV reality television series that exists in separate iterations, each focusing on a specific music act. It spawned musical acts O-Town, Da Band, Danity Kane, Day26, and Donnie Klang. Except for the first iteration of the series featuring O-Town, all seasons of Making the Band have been overseen by Diddy, acting as the man of the house who makes the final decision on who will be in the band. MTV announced on July 15, 2019, that the series was revived and would premiere in 2020, which was then postponed to 2021 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. However, this never materialized.

It was exclusively released digitally through the iTunes Store on November 13, 2007 with physical CDs and LPs made available on February 26, 2008. In and Out of Love debuted at #74 on the Billboard 200, Dennis' debut album was critically acclaimed despite questions being raised concerning the album's sudden halt possibly due to the record label and the music industry's infamous promotional discrepancies, corruption, quid pro quo, fraudulent fine print being added onto contracts, breach of contract, and federal embezzlement.
