North Las Vegas is a city in Clark County, Nevada, United States, in the Las Vegas Valley. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 216,961, with an estimated population of 251,974 in 2019. The city was incorporated on May 1, 1946. It is the fourth largest city in the state of Nevada.

Mojave High School, is a nine-month public high school that is part of Clark County School District located in North Las Vegas, Nevada. After a year of sharing a campus at Cheyenne High School on a "double session" schedule where Cheyenne students attended from 6 am to 12 pm and Mojave students attended 1 pm to 7 pm, the inaugural class, class of 2000, were the only class to not have an upper-class. The school began with only the Freshman class, who became the first graduating class in 2000.

Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), is an academic division of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) with 60 students matriculated on July 17, 2017. The students began their education with a 6 week EMT course. The school is the first to grant the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Southern Nevada. The school uses facilities in the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMCSN) clinical building at the Las Vegas Medical District.
