Satyam Shivam Sundaram is a 1978 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film produced and directed by Raj Kapoor and written by Jainendra Jain, starring Shashi Kapoor and Zeenat Aman. This was the only film directed by Joy to be successful at the box office. and the success of Chhailla Babu gave a boost to the career of Khanna, who went through a bad phase between 1976 and 1978 at the box office.
The genre of science fiction has been prevalent in the Indian film industry since the second half of the 20th century. Beginning in 1952, the Tamil film Kaadu was made, which was an Indian-American co-production. The 1963 Tamil film Kalai Arasi, 1965 Telugu film Dorikithe Dongalu, and 1967 Hindi film Chand Par Chadayee also have science fiction in their storyline. The Alien was a science fiction film under production in the late 1960s which was eventually cancelled. The film was being directed by Bengali Indian director Satyajit Ray and produced by Hollywood studio Columbia Pictures. The script was written by Ray in 1967, based on "Bankubabur Bandhu", a Bengali story he had written in 1962 for Sandesh, the Ray family magazine.

Hitler is a 1996 Indian Malayalam-language comedy drama film written and directed by Siddique, produced by Ousepachan Valakuzhy and Lal under the banner of Ousepachan Movie House. It stars Mammootty in the title role with Mukesh, Shobana, Sai Kumar, Jagadish, and Vani Viswanath in supporting roles. The story centres around the life of Madhavankutty, locally known as 'Hitler' due to his tough character, domineering personality and his uncontrolled rage at the youngsters of the area, for stalking his five young sisters. The film features original songs composed by S. P. Venkatesh. Hitler became the highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year 1996, and completed more than 300 days theatrical run. The film broke the collection record of Mammootty-starrer The King that was released the previous year.
"Rang Barse Bhige Chunar Wali" is a popular 1981 Hindi song from Bollywood movie Silsila. The song "Rang Barse Bhige Chunarwali" which Amitabh Bachchan sings during the film is said to be one of India's best known folk songs. The music director was Shiv-Hari, both also noted classical musicians. The taal (rhythm) of the song is Keherwa (Kaharva) of Hindustani classical music, while the lyrics were by poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, based on a traditional bhajan, by 15th-century mystic poet Meera.
Samjhauta is a 1973 Bollywood drama film directed by Ajay Biswas and produced by Sandeep Sethi. It stars Anil Dhawan, Yogeeta Bali, Shatrughan Sinha, Pradeep Kumar, Naaz, Sulochana Latkar in pivotal roles. The music was composed by Kalyanji-Anandji.
