On 22 November 2015 Chile had qualified at the 2017 World Games in the Fistball Men Team event. [2] [3] On 29 November 2015 Chile has lost the quota.

The 2017 World Games, commonly known as Wrocław 2017, was the tenth World Games, a major international multi-sport event, meant for sports, or disciplines or events within a sport, that were not contested in the Olympic Games, held from 20 to 30 July 2017 in Wrocław, Poland. The World Games were organized by the Wrocław Organizing Committee. Wrocław was selected as the host city in January 2012 in Lausanne, over Budapest, Hungary. It was the first time The World Games was organised in Poland.

While originally scheduled for July 2021, The World Games 2022 was held on July 7 to 17, 2022 in Birmingham, Alabama, United States, due to the rescheduling of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The host city was chosen by the International World Games Association on January 22, 2015, and the Games featured 30 official sports in 54 disciplines which were contested at 30 venues across the Birmingham area.
