The Pitch and Putt Union of Ireland (PPUI) is the governing body for pitch and putt in Ireland.
The Pitch and Putt World Cup is the Teams championship promoted by the Federation of International Pitch and Putt Associations (FIPPA) played every four years.
The 2004 Pitch and Putt World Cup was held in Chia, Italy, being the first time for this championship promoted by the Federation of International Pitch and Putt Associations (FIPPA), with 8 national teams in competition. Catalonia won this World Cup.
The 2006 Pitch and Putt World Cup was held in Teià (Catalonia) and was the second edition for this championship promoted by the Federation of International Pitch and Putt Associations (FIPPA), with 13 teams. Catalonia won the World Cup.

The 2012 Pitch and putt World Cup was held on the Royal Meath course (Ireland) and was the fourth edition for this championship promoted by the Federation of International Pitch and Putt Associations (FIPPA), with 11 national teams. Ireland won their second World Cup after defeating Australia in the final.
