The China Soong Ching Ling Foundation is a people's organization named after Soong Ching-ling,the honorary chairwoman of the People's Republic of China.
On 29 May 1982,the establishment of the Children's Science Park Foundation in Memory of National Honorary Chairman Soong Ching Ling (纪念宋庆龄国家名誉主席儿童科学公园基金会). [1] During the establishment preparation,it was decided the name had its limitations,and the "Children's Science Park" was removed from the organization's name. Afterwards,the draft charter was submitted to the CCP Secretariat,where it was approved by various leaders including Xi Zhongxun and Hu Qili,among others. [2]

Soong Mei-ling, also known as Madame Chiang Kai-shek or Madame Chiang, was a Chinese political figure who was First Lady of the Republic of China, the wife of President Chiang Kai-shek of the Republic of China. Soong played a prominent role in the politics of the Republic of China and was the sister-in-law of Sun Yat-sen, the founder and the leader of the Republic of China. She was active in the civic life of her country and held many honorary and active positions, including chairwoman of Fu Jen Catholic University. During World War II, she rallied against the Japanese; and in 1943 conducted an eight-month speaking tour of the United States to gain support.
Rosamond Soong Ch'ing-ling was a Chinese political figure. As the third wife of Sun Yat-sen, then Premier of the Kuomintang and President of the Republic of China, she was often referred to as Madame Sun Yat-sen. She was a member of the Soong family and, together with her siblings, played a prominent role in China's politics. After the proclamation of the People's Republic of China in 1949, she held several prominent positions in the new government, including Vice Chairman of the PRC and Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. She traveled abroad during the early 1950s, representing her country at a number of international events.

Hu Qili is a former high-ranking politician of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), known as a champion of the country's economic reform program in the 1980s. He was the first secretary of the CCP Secretariat from 1985 to 1989 and a member of the CCP Politburo Standing Committee from 1987 to 1989. Following the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests, he was purged for his sympathy toward the student protesters and his support for General Secretary Zhao Ziyang's opposition to the use of armed force. However, he returned to politics in 1991. In 2001, he became chairman of the Soong Ching-ling Foundation.

The museum opened in 1982, while it was listed as a National Key Cultural Relic Protection Unit. It was renovated in 2009, and is dedicated to her memory.

Zhao Shaolin is a former Chinese politician who spent most of his career in Jiangsu province. Beginning in the 1990s, Zhao served as the mayor, then Communist Party Secretary, of the city of Huaiyin. In 1998, he became the Secretary General of the Jiangsu provincial Party Committee, in charge of the execution of provincial party policy. He retired from politics in November 2006. Subsequently, he became vice-president of the non-profit China Aging Development Foundation. He was investigated by the Communist Party's anti-graft body in 2014 for corruption, then expelled from the Communist Party; he faces criminal charges related to bribery and foreign exchange fraud.
The Soong Ching-ling Children’s Literature Prize 宋庆龄儿童文学奖(pinyin: Song Qingling ertong wenxue jiang) is a prize for children’s literature in China. It is sponsored by the Soong Ching-ling Foundation, and is awarded every two years, with a different genre specified each time. It is one of the four main prizes for children's literature in China.
The tomb of Soong Ching-ling is the mausoleum of Soong Ching-ling, the last wife of the founding father of the Republic of China, Sun Yat-sen, and the honorary chairman of the People's Republic of China. It is located next to the tomb of Soong Ching-ling's parents in the Soong Ching-ling Mausoleum in Changning district, Shanghai. The tomb of Soong Ching-ling was completed in 1981 and was declared a national major cultural relic protection unit by the State Council on February 23, 1982.
