Chinese American Film Festival (CAFF) is an American film festival held every November since 2006 in California (with events in Los Angeles and San Francisco,previously also in San Diego). [1]
In 2005,the Chinese American Film Festival was founded by EDI Media Inc. It is the only film festival recognized by both Motion Picture Association of America and China's State Administration of Press,Publication,Radio,Film and Television. [2]
In 2018,the 14th annual Chinese American Film Festival was held in Los Angeles,California. On October 28 2018,a Welcome Banquet was held at the San Gabriel Hilton Hotel in San Gabriel,California. [3]
On October 30,2018,the Chinese American Film Festival opening ceremony was held at the Ricardo Montalan Theater in Hollywood,California. [4] [5] Winners include Chow Yun-fat,Li Bingbing,Kelsey Scott,Xu Lu,Byron Mann,and many others. [5]

The Chinese American Museum is a museum located in Downtown Los Angeles as a part of the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Monument. It is dedicated to the history and experience of Chinese Americans in the state of California,the first such museum in Southern California. Dayyan Eng,known as Wu Shixian in China,born in Taiwan in 1975,is a Chinese-American filmmaker of Chinese,English,and Persian ancestry,who grew up in three continents. He studied film arts at the University of Washington and transferred to the Beijing Film Academy,where he finished his undergraduate studies in directing. Eng started his career directing numerous TV commercials and music videos for the Asian market before he segued into films. Eng first won awards and recognition at the Venice Film Festival,Sundance and Cannes film festivals for his film Bus 44, and for his acclaimed romantic-comedy Waiting Alone. Eng is the first American to direct a Chinese feature film;the first foreign director invited into the China Film Director's Guild;and made history as the first and only foreign director to date to have a film nominated for Best Picture at the Chinese academy awards. In addition,Eng's films have also garnered accolades and awards for the actors he's worked with,which have included top stars in Asia and Hollywood.

The film's former English title was based on Bruce Lee's famous quote on martial arts philosophy. Production for the film began in January 2019 and wrapped up in late March of the same year.
The 28th Busan International Film Festival will be held from October 4 at the Busan Cinema Center in Busan,South Korea till October 13. Song Kang-ho of Parasite fame will welcome filmmakers as the opening ceremony host. While Park Eun-bin and Lee Je-hoon will be moderators of the ceremony. On August 24,first line-up of films for 'Korean Cinema Today - Special Premiere' and 'On Screen' were announced. Opening with South Korean film Because I Hate Korea by Jang Kun-jae,269 films will be screened,including 209 officially invited films from 69 countries and 60 community beef screenings. Jung Sung-il,South Korean film critic,director and screenwriter will serve as Chairman of the jury for its main competition section.
