The Chinese Enterprise Archery League(CEAL) is a Taiwanese archery league founded in 2019.

History

The CEAL was founded by Chinese Taipei Archery Association in 2019. The six teams participating in the inaugural season are Caesar Park, CTAA Youth Team, Hsinchu City JSL Group, My Humble House Group, Taichung Bank Eagles, and Tainan Archery Team. The first edition CEAL draft was held on March 6, 2019, at Sheraton Hotel Taipei. [1]

In 2022, Chang Hwa Bank joined as the seventh CEAL team. [2]

Format

Each game is played for five matches. The matches play in the order as women's individual, men's individual, mixed doubles, women's team, and men's team. Points are awarded to the winning team for each match. Each player can participate no more than two matches in all games.

The playoff games qualification is based on the total points of the regular season.

The 2021–22 Taoyuan Pilots season was the franchise's 2nd season, its second season in the P. LEAGUE+ (PLG), its 2nd in Taoyuan City. The Pilots were coached by Cheng Chih-Lung in his first year as head coach.

The New Taipei CTBC DEA are a Taiwanese professional basketball team based in New Taipei City. They have competed in the T1 League since the 2021–22 season, and play their home games at the Xinzhuang Gymnasium and Taipei Dome. The DEA became one of the six teams of the inaugural T1 League season.

The 2021–22 Tainan TSG GhostHawks season was the franchise's 1st season in the T1 League. The GhostHawks were coached by Wu Chih-Wei in his first year as head coach, with Chien Wei-Cheng as their general manager. On April 1, 2022, the GhostHawks named Wu Chih-Wei as their team director, and Liu Meng-Chu, the consultant of the Tainan TSG GhostHawks, as their interim head coach.

The 2021–22 T1 League season was the first season of the T1 League, with the Kaohsiung Aquas, the New Taipei CTBC DEA, the Taichung Wagor Suns, the Tainan TSG GhostHawks, the TaiwanBeer HeroBears, and the Taoyuan Leopards participating in this competition. The regular season started on November 27, 2021 and ended on May 20, 2022. The play-in series was played on May 22. The semifinals series started on May 24 and ended on May 28. The finals series started on May 31 and ended on June 4. On June 4, the Kaohsiung Aquas defeated the Taichung Wagor Suns, 3–0, winning the 2021–22 season championship.

The Taichung Dreamers Academy is a Taiwanese basketball team based in Taichung, Taiwan. The team is composed of amateur and student players. They competed in various basketball tournaments.

The 2022 P. League+ draft, the second edition of the draft, is scheduled to be held on July 28, 2022, at Taipei New Horizon.

The 2022–23 Taoyuan Leopards season was the franchise's 2nd season in the T1 League. The Leopards were coached by Liu Chia-Fa in his second year as head coach, with Su Yi-Chieh as their general manager. On December 19, 2022, Su Yi-Chieh announced that he resigned from general manager. On December 21, the Leopards named Chang Chien-Wei, the chief executive officer of the Taoyuan Leopards, as their interim general manager. On March 24, 2023, the Leopards named Liu Chia-Fa as their player development and skills consultant, and John Bennett as their new head coach.

The 2022–23 Taichung Suns season was the franchise's 2nd season in the T1 League. The Suns were with Wang Wei-Chieh as their general manager. On July 1, 2022, the Taoyuan Pilots hired Iurgi Caminos, the head coach of the Taichung Wagor Suns, as their new head coach. On September 18, the Suns promoted Alberto Garcia, the assistant coach of the Taichung Wagor Suns, as their new head coach. On October 25, the Suns named Chris Gavina as their new head coach.

The 2022–23 TaiwanBeer HeroBears season was the franchise's 2nd season in the T1 League. The HeroBears were coached by Yang Chih-Hao in his second year as head coach, with Ha Hsiao-Yuan as their general manager.

The 2022–23 Tainan TSG GhostHawks season was the franchise's 2nd season in the T1 League. The GhostHawks were with Chien Wei-Cheng as their general manager. On July 6, 2022, the GhostHawks promoted Liu Meng-Chu, the interim head coach of the Tainan TSG GhostHawks, as their new head coach. On March 3, 2023, the GhostHawks named Ma I-Hung, the assistant coach of the Tainan TSG GhostHawks, as their interim head coach for one game since Liu Meng-Chu coached UCH basketball team for University Basketball Association (UBA) 2022–23 season quarterfinals series. On March 24, the GhostHawks named Ma I-Hung as their interim head coach for one game since Liu Meng-Chu coached UCH basketball team for UBA 2022–23 season semifinals series.

The 2023–24 Taichung Suns season was the franchise's 3rd season in the T1 League. The Suns were with Wang Wei-Chieh as their general manager. On June 29, 2023, the Suns announced that Chris Gavina left the team. On July 1, the Suns named Anthony Tucker as their new head coach. On September 15, the T1 League announced that the 2023–24 season participation rights of the Taichung Suns was cancelled due to financial qualification. On October 13, the news reported that Anthony Tucker left the team. On October 16, the Suns announced to fold officially.

The 2023–24 Taiwan Beer Leopards season is the franchise's 3rd season in the T1 League. On August 14, 2023, the Leopards named Michael Olson as their new head coach. On January 13, 2024, the Leopards announced to terminate contract relationship with Michael Olson, and named Chou Chun-San, the consultant of the Taiwan Beer Leopards, as their interim head coach. On February 15, the Leopards named Charles Dube-Brais, the assistant coach of the Taiwan Beer Leopards, as their head coach.
