Cricket has invited his family to Big Coffee for a "Bring Your Family to Work Day", which consists of him taking a break while the others - Tilly, Bill and Gramma - do the work for him. Gloria disapproves of this, though her boss Ms. Cho approves of it. All the while, a suspicious stranger with cameras on his head is watching the scene.

At Wholesome Foods Corp, Chip Whistler is revealed to be controlling the cameras, and after a long monologue on how the Greens are able to thwart his plans, he is ready to run them out of Big City, once and for all. However, the vice-president of Wholesome Foodsarrives, telling him he needs to do his duties as a CEO, like signing forms and having to be present at the next company meeting. However, Chip is more focused on running the Greens out of Big City.

Back at Big Coffee, Cricket monitors his family doing their duties while secretly triumphant for them in a very sly manner, as Gloria complains. Suddenly, Chip arrives in a custom-made truck for "Wholesome Coffee"; this is Chip's plan to run the Greens out of Big City. First, he plans to bring Big Coffee out of business. While it looks like it is getting more and more successful as time passes, Cricket, who has stopped taking him seriously and is not the least bit surprised, smugly replies he'll never win and he's a joke now.

Officer Keys later appears and tells Chip that he parked right next to a fire hydrant which is illegal, and that a tow truck is about to tow his truck away. As the tow truck tows his truck away, Chip holds on to the hydrant, causing it to come loose and sending him towards a billboard. He is initially unscathed, but he falls off the building; the billboard he crashed into then squishes him, which chips his tooth, which Cricket decides to keep, humiliating him even further as his plan is ruined once again.

In his office, Chip lies on the floor in depression, when his father Mr. Whistler calls. He has heard that Chip has skipped out of his CEO duties, and Chip almost lets it slip to him this was because he's in pursuit of the Green family. Mr. Whistler reassures him that he's the CEO now and tells him to be the CEO he was supposed to be, and he should "put the company to work for him". To Chip, that means taking the company in an entirely new direction: he fires Greg and Rose, and during the next company meeting, he shares with his fellow high-ranking personnel his Wholesome Foods Expansion Plan.

The next day at Big Coffee, the other Greens learn Cricket only used them to do his work for him, which they aren't willing to do anymore and call him out for it. When they are about to leave Cricket by himself, Chip arrives with his new Wholesome Squad, who start dismantling and destroying everything in the café much to their horror and shock. Cricket tries to interfere, but is immediately outmatched by one of the bouncers.

Just before Gloria could call the cops, Chip bribes Ms. Cho into retirement, seizing control of Big Coffee and firing Cricket and Gloria and kicking everyone out. With his plan finally succeeding, Chip mocks Cricket like he did to him the day before, claiming that none of this would've happened without his "advice", and says that his Wholesome Foods expansion plan will need a "bit more space," looking to the adjacent Greens' house, before uttering to Cricket.

He leaves the gobsmacked and worried Green family and a panicking Gloria behind; Cricket tries to find a silver lining, but there is none. As Cricket cries out that Chip can't win, and that their time in Big City can't end like this, with Tilly mournfully tells him that he did, with the episode ending on a cliffhanger.
