Chirrantan Bhatt is an Indian musician, composer, and singer. [1] [2] He has worked within Bollywood, the Indian film industry, and composed music for Telugu films. He is best known for his melody compositions, particularly in Hindi horror films.
He is a member of the Gujarati Bhatt family, film-makers and directors in Bollywood cinema, and is the grandson of Vijay Bhatt. He is the son of Arun Bhatt, a producer and director of Gujarati films.
Bhatt made his debut as a composer for the Hindi film Mission Istaanbul in 2008. His early career works include music for the films Shaapit , Haunted 3D , and 1920: Evil Returns. His later works include "Har Kisi Ko Nahin Milta" in Akshay Kumar's Boss , "Teri Meri Kahaani" and "Coffee Peete Peete" in Gabbar Is Back , "Bawra Mann" in Jolly LLB 2, and "Uska Hi Banana" in 1920: Evil Returns.
After Gabbar Is Back, the director Krish offered Bhatt the opportunity to score his Telugu venture, Kanche. The score won him two major awards in 2016: the GAMA Award in Dubai and the CineMAA Award in Hyderabad. He was also nominated for Best Music Director for Kanche by the Telugu Filmfare Awards. The film also won the National Award 2016 in the Best Regional Film category.
Bhatt later worked on another period film, Gautamiputra Satakarni , which was also directed by Krish and starred the Telugu actor Nandmuri Balakrishna. Bhatt impressed critics with his music and background score for this film. [3]
In 2018, Bhatt created the music and background score for Nandmuri Balakrishna's film Jai Simha. In particular, his song "Ammakutti Ammakutti" from the film became a hit. [4] Chirrantan Bhatt has been nominated in the best Music Album category for the Filmfare Awards 2020 for his contribution to the Akshay Kumar film Kesari, and he won the Radio Mirchi award for the same. He also composted the music for Nandamuri Balakrishna's Telugu film "Ruler".

Sholay is a 1975 Indian Hindi-language action-adventure film directed by Ramesh Sippy, produced by his father G. P. Sippy, and written by Salim–Javed. The film is about two criminals, Veeru (Dharmendra) and Jai, hired by a retired police officer to capture the ruthless dacoit Gabbar Singh. Hema Malini and Jaya Bhaduri also star, as Veeru and Jai's love interests, Basanti and Radha, respectively. The music was composed by R D Burman.

Har Kisi Ko is a Hindi song from the 2013 Bollywood film, Boss. Re-created by Chirantan Bhatt, the song is sung by Nikhil D'Souza, with lyrics by Manoj Yadav. The music video of this solo track features actors Shiv Panditt and Aditi Rao Hydari. A duet version of the same song was released as part of the film soundtrack, which was rendered by Arijit Singh and Neeti Mohan. This version is picturised on Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha. Kanche is a 2015 Indian Telugu-language romantic war film written and directed by Krish. It stars Varun Tej, Pragya Jaiswal, and Nikitin Dheer. Produced by First Frame Entertainment, Kanche revolves around the enmity between two friends—Dhupati Haribabu (Tej) and Eeswar Prasad (Dheer). Eeswar's sister Sitadevi (Jaiswal) and Haribabu graduate from the University of Madras in the late 1930s and fall in love. Due to the prevailing casteism in their native village, Eeswar opposes their relationship and kills Sitadevi accidentally. Years later, Haribabu joins the British Indian Army as a captain to fight against the Axis powers in World War II and Eeswar, now a colonel, is his commanding officer.
Gautamiputra Satakarni is a 2017 Indian Telugu-language epic historical action film written and directed by Krish. The film was produced by Y. Rajeev Reddy, Jagarlamudi Saibabu on First Frame Entertainment banner. Based on the life of 2nd century CE Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni, the film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the title role, alongside Shriya Saran, and Hema Malini. It marks Balakrishna's 100th film as an actor. The music is composed by Chirantan Bhatt.
