Chloe Ferry (born Chloe West Etherington; 7 September 1995) is an English television personality from Newcastle, known for being a cast member in the MTV reality series Geordie Shore . [1] She also took part in the nineteenth series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2017. [2] [3]

Career

On 17 February 2015, it was announced that Ferry had joined the cast of Geordie Shore making her debut in the tenth series. [4] On 30 June 2015, Ferry appeared in an episode of Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents where her family followed her to Sunny Beach, Bulgaria.[ citation needed ] On 13 January 2017, Ferry entered the Celebrity Big Brother house taking part in the nineteenth series. [5] She was evicted a week later. [6] Ferry also appeared in the second series of Super Shore in 2016 for one episode with another Geordie Shore cast member, Kyle Christie.

Personal life

Ferry was in a relationship with Geordie Shore co-star Sam Gowland from 2017 to 2019. In July 2020, Ferry announced that she is bisexual. [7]

Ex on the Beach is a British reality television series that is broadcast on MTV. The series was first announced in February 2014, and premiered on 22 April 2014. The series is narrated by Andrew Maxwell. Ex on the Beach follows the format of cast members staying abroad and beginning relationships, which are typically interrupted by their exes arriving at various points throughout the series. The second series of Ex on the Beach, a British television programme, began airing on 27 January 2015 on MTV. The series concluded on 17 March 2015 after 8 episodes. The series was confirmed in July 2014 when it was announced that filming would begin soon. Exes for this series included stars of Geordie Shore Charlotte Crosby and Gary Beadle.

The fourth series of Ex on the Beach, a British television programme, began airing on 19 January 2016 on MTV. The series concluded on 8 March 2016 after eight episodes. The group of cast members for this series include Geordie Shore star Scotty T, and Judge Geordie guest Lewis Good. The fourteenth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne, was confirmed on 31 October 2016 when cast member Scotty T announced that he would be taking a break from the series to focus on other commitments. The series was filmed in November 2016, and began airing on 28 March 2017. Ahead of the series, it was also confirmed that original cast member Holly Hagan had quit the show, following her exit in the previous series. On 28 February 2017, it was announced that eight new cast members had joined for this series. Zahida Allen, Chelsea Barber, Sam Bentham, Sarah Goodhart, Abbie Holborn, Elettra Lamborghini, Billy Phillips and Eve Shannon all appeared throughout the series hoping to become permanent members of the cast, and in the series finale, Holborn was chosen. Goodhart and Allen both previously appeared on Ex on the Beach, with the former appearing on the third series of the show as the ex-girlfriend of current Geordie Shore cast member Marty McKenna. Lamborghini has also appeared on Super Shore and participated in the fifth season of Gran Hermano VIP, the Spanish version of Celebrity Big Brother. It was also confirmed that Scotty T would return later in the series.

The seventh series of Ex on the Beach, a British television programme that aired on 20 June 2017 on MTV. The group of cast for this series include Geordie Shore stars Chloe Ferry and Marty McKenna, Love Island contestants Max Morley and Josh Ritchie, as well as Beauty School Cop Outs cast member Savannah Kemplay. Star of series five David Hawley also featured in this series. Marty and Josh had also previously appeared in the third and sixth series of the show respectively.

The series was filmed in Australia rather than Newcastle, making this the second series to be filmed here following the sixth series in 2013. Ahead of the series it was announced that former cast member Holly Hagan would be making a return to the show. Six new cast members joined the series, including Grant Molloy, Adam Guthrie and four Australians, Alex MacPherson, Nick Murdoch, Dee Nguyen, and Chrysten Zenoni. Zenoni had previously appeared in the fifth series of Ex on the Beach. The new cast members were to replace Aaron Chalmers and Marnie Simpson, who both announced that they'd quit the show, and Steph Snowdon who was fired after the sixteenth series.

They replaced former cast member Faith Mullen who did not return to the show. This series also marks the end for Scott Timlin and Alex MacPherson, and original cast members Sophie Kasaei and Holly Hagan. Chloe Ferry also announced her departure from the show, but later returned for the next series. Despite not being official cast members, Abbie Holborn and Adam Guthrie continued to make appearances throughout the series.

The twenty-first series of Geordie Shore, a British television program based in Newcastle upon Tyne, began airing on 28 July 2020 and concluded following eight episodes on 15 September 2020. The series was due to begin earlier in the year, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, production on the series was put on hiatus. Ahead of the series it was confirmed that three new cast members had joined the show, Ant Kennedy, Louis Shaw, and former The X Factor and Celebrity Big Brother contestant Amelia Lily. These replace former cast Sam Gowland and Tahlia Chung. During the series Nat Phillips and Beau Brennan made their final appearance.

<i>Geordie Shore</i> series 24 British television programme

The twenty-fourth series of Geordie Shore, a British television programme based in Newcastle upon Tyne was confirmed on 6 December 2023, and began airing on 9 January 2024. After last season the original cast reunited again in a mansion in Cyprus. Bethan Kershaw, Amelia Lily, Anthony Kennedy and Louis Shaw did not return to the show after the previous season. Before this season premiered, Charlotte Crosby announced her departure from the show. This was also Marnie Simpson last season.
