Choose a Bright Morning was the first album recorded by post-rock band Jeniferever, released on March 13, 2006. It had been preceded by two EPs - Jeniferever in 2002 and Iris in 2004. It was their first release on the Drowned in Sound label, and two singles were taken from it, "From Across the Sea" and "The Sound Of Beating Wings".
Bright Eyes was an American indie rock band founded by singer-songwriter and guitarist Conor Oberst. It consisted of Oberst, multi-instrumentalist and producer Mike Mogis, trumpet and piano player Nate Walcott, and a rotating lineup of collaborators drawn primarily from Omaha's indie music scene.
Conor Mullen Oberst is an American singer-songwriter best known for his work in Bright Eyes. He has also played in several other bands, including Desaparecidos, The Faint, Commander Venus, Park Ave., Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band, Monsters of Folk, and Better Oblivion Community Center. Oberst was named the Best Songwriter of 2008 by Rolling Stone magazine.

Matthew Stephen Ward is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Portland, Oregon. Ward's solo work is a mixture of folk and blues-inspired Americana analog recordings; he has released nine albums since 1999, primarily through independent label Merge Records. In addition to his solo work, he is a member of indie pop duo She & Him and folk-rock supergroup Monsters of Folk, and also participates in recording, producing, and playing with multiple other artists.

Their second album Spring Tides was also released on Monotreme Records in 2009. The band released its third album Silesia on April 11, 2011. A track from Silesia, Waifs & Strays, was released for free internet download in January 2011.
