Choro 2021 is a mobile video game released for Android and iOS on 5 December 2021. The game follows a cowboy in a dystopian Venezuela that has to fight malandros, soldiers, zombies and witches, while finding references of the country, such as an empanada, a Toronto or a Riko Malt. In the first released level, the protagonist has to cross Mission Zamora and fight the witch Bruja Maruja. [1] It was developed by Venezuelan filmmaker Carl Zitelmann and based in an homonymous novel, [1] [2] Choro 2021 is an action and adventure metroidvania, with a design similar to Contra, Mega Man, Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden. The bolívar is the official currency of Venezuela. The group's first album, Tres Casas, which was released in June 2006, experimented with electronic music to integrate several genres such as pop, Latin, rock, hip-hop, trip hop, Afro-Venezuelan, classical, Hindu, tango and jazz.
Leopoldo Eduardo López Mendoza is a Venezuelan opposition leader. López was elected mayor of the Chacao Municipality of Caracas in the regional elections held in July 2000. He is the National Coordinator of another political party, Voluntad Popular, which he founded in 2009. He is a Venezuelan politician, economist, and sociologist.
El Caracazo is 2005 Venezuelan historical film that deals with the events of El Caracazo, the name given to a series of riots and lootings in and around Caracas on 27 February 1989. The film was produced and directed by the veteran Venezuelan filmmaker Román Chalbaud. It is a documentary drama, not only about the titular tragedy but also putting it in historical perspective. The film cost 3 billion bolívares, provided by the Ministry of Culture.
