The film is one of the rare films where lead actress Hema Malini played a negative role, being a jealous mistress of a zamindar who tries to frame his young wife as an adultress. The film follows an Indian Army officer sent undercover to find the culprit behind extremist attacks in Kashmir, where he is helped by the daughter of a separatist leader. Challenge 2 is a 2012 Indian Bengali action comedy film directed by Raja Chanda starring Dev and Pooja Bose in lead roles. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2009 Bengali film Challenge, but contains a very different storyline. Major parts of the movie were shot in Malaysia and Dubai. It is a remake of the 2011 Telugu film Dookudu, directed by Srinu Vaitla and starring Mahesh Babu and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Bhai Amar Bhai (1996) is a Bengali Romance drama film written & directed by Swapan Saha and produced by Shree Venkatesh Films. The film features actors Prosenjit Chatterjee, Chiranjit Chakraborty, Abhishek Chatterjee, Anushree Das, Subhendu Chatterjee and Rozina in the lead roles. The music of the film was composed by Anupam Dutta. It was said to be the first Bengali film to make ₹1 crore at the box office.

The film stars Adil Hussain, Rajshri Deshpande, Sandhya Mridul. and Saandeep Mahaajan. It follows the story of a boatman who becomes the caretaker of a Himalayan resort after an attempted suicide.
Kahaani is the soundtrack to the 2012 film of the same name directed by Sujoy Ghosh starring Vidya Balan. The film's music consists of six original songs composed by Vishal–Shekhar, with two of them only featured in the film. The album is individually distinctive to the film, either being defined as both companion piece and a concept album to the story and themes. The songs written by Vishal Dadlani, Anvita Dutt and Sandeep Shrivatsava, consists lyrics in English, Hindi and Bengali languages. T-Series released the film's soundtrack album on 13 February 2012.
