Christopher David Dicomidis (born 14 September 1985) is a rugby union player for Pontypridd RFC in the Principality Premiership, and for the Cyprus national team.

Born in Pencoed, Dicomidis progressed through the junior teams of Pencoed RFC, before joining the junior side of Cardiff RFC – Cardiff Junior Blue & Blacks before it disbanded at Under 15's level and moved to Old Penarthians RFC. He then joined Tondu RFC as a fullback.

Dicomidis and was capped by Wales at FIRA under 19 level, as a Lock, and also figured in the Celtic Warriors academy.

Studying sports and leisure management at UWIC, Dicomidis represented the university team in the first division during the 2004–05 season, making a number of appearances on permit for Pontypridd RFC in the league and cup. Further international honours followed with Wales Universities.

At the beginning of the 2005–06 season, Dicomidis was drafted into the Pontypridd senior squad. A good run of form was rewarded with a call up to the Wales under 21 squad, for whom he won caps during the Six Nations campaign and the age group World Cup tournament in France.

Dicomidis was voted joint recipient of the "Most Improved Player of the Year" [1] award for 2006 by the Pontypridd Supporters' Club.

Dicomidis, who plays at Lock, Flanker or Number 8 [2] was handed the captaincy of the Pontypridd team at the beginning of the 2010/11 season [3] and captained the club to win the Welsh cup in 2010-2011 [4] (the season Pontypridd also finished as runaway league winners but lost out in the play off final to Llanelli RFC [5] ), the league in 2011-2012 [6] (also leading the team to the final of the Swalec cup competition [7] ) and to the club's first league and cup double in 2012–13. [8] Dicomidis was also a member of the squad that successfully achieved the double-double by winning the cup and league double for a second season in a row in 2013–14. [9]

On 27 November 2013 Cardiff Blues announced the signing of Dicomidis on a long-term deal. Dicomidis said "I'm excited about the opportunity to become part of the Blues squad and taking my chance at professional rugby". [10]

Chris Dicomidis is a top level coach at ccyd who over the last 2 years has had a massive 3 wins to his senior squad of fantastic talent with the likes of cian thacker, connor berry, tom painter(vc), luke lockyer (c), scott hunter, tom boobyer, rhys cawley.

On Saturday 27th January 2024, Dicomidis made his 400th appearance for Ponty in a 29-26 win over Pontypool.

Paul John is a Welsh rugby union coach and former player. He won 10 caps for Wales. He is the son of Dennis John, former Wales head coach.

Lee Jarvis is a former international Welsh rugby union player who was known as a top points scorer with the boot. His career has been spent in both Wales and England including top level rugby in Wales and in the Celtic League, winning a number of trophies in both countries. He has represented Wales from school level to full international honours as well as being selected by the Barbarians. Despite being tipped as the "next best thing" during his early career and being a great points kicker Jarvis only earned one cap for Wales at full international level. After retiring from rugby union as a player, Jarvis took up coaching. He is currently head coach at Rhydyfelin RFC.

David Flanagan is a rugby union coach and former player who is the head coach for Dragons RFC. As a player, he played as a fly-half for Pontypridd RFC, the Cardiff Blues and the Ospreys.

Matthew Dean Nuthall is a rugby union player for Pontypridd RFC in the Principality Premiership. Nuthall shot to fame at the end of the 2001/02 season with a man of the match performance in his first ever senior outing for Pontypridd against Bridgend. His rise to stardom continued with a place in the Ponty team which clinched the 2002 Welsh Cup against Llanelli, whilst still qualified at the youth age level. Nuthall was drafted into the Celtic Warriors regional squad in 2003, but turning out regularly for Pontypridd at club level.

The 2013–14 British and Irish Cup was the fifth season of the annual rugby union competition for second tier, semi-professional clubs from Britain and Ireland. Leinster A were the defending champions having won the 2012–13 Final with a 78th minute penalty by Noel Reid to beat Newcastle Falcons 18–17 at their home ground Kingston Park. There has been four different winners and four different losing finalists of the competition in the first four seasons of its existence.

William Stuart Roy is a former international rugby union player who represented Wales, as well as played in the top division of Welsh club rugby for Cardiff RFC, Pontypridd RFC and Newport RFC. Roy was born in Ely, Cambridgeshire in England, but moved to Anglesey in Wales as a child.
