Chris Mason (born 14 February 1991) is an English actor. He may be best known for playing Chad Gekko, husband of Veronica Lodge, in the 2021 season of Riverdale . As of 2024, he portrays Keiran Atreides in the series Dune: Prophecy .

Career

Mason's first major roles were in the main casts of two miniseries, The Fades (2011) and Lightfields (2013). His first film role was in Vampire Academy (2014). [1]

In 2017, Mason appeared in a recurring role, as Leo Humphries, in the third season of Broadchurch . [2]

In 2021, he appeared in the fifth season of Riverdale , portraying Chad Gekko, the manipulative husband eventually ex-husband of Veronica Lodge. [3] [4]

As of 2024, he portrays Keiran Atreides in the main cast of the Max series Dune: Prophecy . [5]

Personal life

Mason was born 14 February 1991, [6] in Edge Hill, Liverpool and raised in Broadgreen. [7]

Mason has been married to Spencer Locke since 2017 and they have a daughter, Monroe (b. 2020) [6] and a son (b. 2022).[ citation needed ]
