Chris Mason (born 14 February 1991) [1] is an English actor. [2] [3] [4] [5] He is known for playing Chad Gekko in Riverdale . [6] [7] [8] He is also known for portraying Leo Humphries in Broadchurch . [9] [10] He also played the young Dan Broderick in Dirty John . [11] [12] Films he has appeared in include Vampire Academy (2014) and Legend (2015). [13] He also appeared in the film Mad Genius (2017). [14] [15] Mason also featured as John Lennon in the fourteenth series of Doctor Who , and portrays Keiran Atreides in the Max series Dune: Prophecy . [16]

Personal life

Mason was born in Edge Hill, Liverpool and raised in Broadgreen. [17]

Mason has been married to Spencer Locke since 2017 and they have a daughter, Monroe (b. 2020) [1] and a son (b. 2022).[ citation needed ]

Dirty John is an American true crime anthology television series, based on the podcast of the same name by Christopher Goffard, that premiered on November 25, 2018, on Bravo. Outside the United States, it was made available through Netflix on February 14, 2019. The series was created by Alexandra Cunningham also an executive producer alongside Richard Suckle, Charles Roven, Mark Herzog, Christopher G. Cowen, and Chris Argentieri. The series was initially given an order for two seasons. In May 2019, it was announced that the series will be moving from Bravo to USA Network, ahead of the premiere of the second season.
