His outstanding performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 was described in the Huffington Post as being played 'with such streamlined patrician elegance that he took home First Prize and a string of engagements...' The renowned British conductor Sir Mark Elder said Gillham 'plays Beethoven with a sort of ‘glow’'. In May 2015, Gillham signed a three-album deal with ABC Classics.
Halfway is a rock band from Brisbane, Australia. As of 2023 the group have released eight studio albums, most recently On the Ghostline, with Hands of Lightning, released in August 2022. Previous to this the band released, Restless Dream (2021), which was a collaboration between Halfway and Aboriginal Australian elder, Bob Weatherall.
Blank Realm is a musical group from Brisbane Australia active since 2005. The group is composed of sibling members Daniel, Luke and Sarah Spencer and guitarist Luke Walsh. They were described by the Guardian as having "a sound drawn from krautrock, New York’s no wave, New Zealand’s entire Flying Nun roster, and those closer to home, like the Go-Betweens." Sasha McLeod, known professionally as Sycco, is an Aboriginal Australian singer-songwriter and producer from Brisbane. She was nominated for Triple J Unearthed Artist of the Year in 2020, having released the pop singles "Nicotine" and "Dribble" in the same year.
Jeremy Neale is an Australian songwriter and entertainer and lead singer of band Velociraptor.
Liz Stringer is an Australian singer-songwriter, based in Melbourne, Victoria. As of April 2021, Stringer has released six studio albums, a live album and two extended plays. Since 2013 she has released with Mia Dyson and Jen Cloher music under the name Dyson Stringer Cloher.
