Jason Lee "Jay" Payton is an American former Major League Baseball (MLB) outfielder who played for the New York Mets (1998-2002),Colorado Rockies,San Diego Padres (2004),Boston Red Sox (2005),Oakland Athletics (2005-2006) and Baltimore Orioles (2007-2008). He batted and threw right-handed. Payton was an opposite-field hitter with some power. He had great speed as a runner,but did not steal many bases. Defensively,he was a solid outfielder with an above-average arm,and his quickness getting rid of the ball helped him hold baserunners on the base paths. He is currently serving as an in game analyst with ESPNU for college baseball.
Ty Allen Wigginton is an American former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Mets,Pittsburgh Pirates,Tampa Bay Devil Rays,Houston Astros,Baltimore Orioles,Colorado Rockies,Philadelphia Phillies,and St. Louis Cardinals. He mainly played as a first and third baseman,but also platooned as an infielder and an outfielder during his career. He bats and throws right-handed. Wigginton resides in Chula Vista,California.

James Francis Williams is an American former professional baseball infielder,coach and manager in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born in Santa Maria,California,and briefly appeared in two MLB seasons as a second baseman and shortstop for the St. Louis Cardinals. After his playing career,he managed in the California Angels' minor league system before managing at the MLB level for the Toronto Blue Jays (1986–89),Boston Red Sox (1997–2001) and Houston Astros (2002–04),and was the American League Manager of the Year in 1999. He has also coached for Toronto,the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies.
Daniel Ryan Johnson is an American former professional baseball first baseman. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for six teams,over ten seasons,as well as one season in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB),but never held a Major League starting job for an entire season. He is perhaps best known for hitting a dramatic two-out,two-strike home run for the Tampa Bay Rays in the bottom of the ninth inning of the last game of the 2011 season,also known as Wild Card Wednesday. That home run tied the game,which the Rays eventually won,sending them to the playoffs. His clutch hitting for the Rays,along with his red hair and beard,earned him the nickname "The Great Pumpkin".
Michael Eugene Fontenot Jr. is an American former professional baseball infielder who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago Cubs,San Francisco Giants,and Philadelphia Phillies. He batted left-handed and threw right-handed. Fontenot was commonly used at second base,shortstop,or third base during his career. He won a World Series with the Giants in 2010.

The Peoria Javelinas are a baseball team that plays in the West Division of the Arizona Fall League. The Javelinas play their home games in the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria,Arizona. The ballpark is also the spring training facility for the San Diego Padres and the Seattle Mariners. The team was established in 1992 as the Tucson Javelinas,and played for two seasons under that name.
