Christopher Arthur Strong (born 12 October 1941) is a former Australian politician.
Born in Brisbane, Queensland, he attended public schools at Rosebud in Victoria before becoming an Associate in Civil Engineering in 1964 (RMIT). From 1970 to 1983 he was a Project Management Consultant, and he held a senior management position with SECV from 1983 to 1992. He was a Brighton City Councillor 1975–78, and had a long history in the Liberal Party. [1]
In 1992, he was elected to the Victorian Legislative Council as a Liberal member for Higinbotham Province. He remained on the backbench for his entire political career. With the rearrangement of the Legislative Council in 2006, he lost Liberal preselection and retired. [1] Strong in the Victorian Parliament once discussed a fist fight at the Brighton baths which involved Brighton Mayor John Locco and Baths manager Mark Greene. [2] Strong is thought to have supported Louse Asher over Mitch Fifield for Brighton pre selection. [3] Strong once stated that some victims do not obey the rules of court. [4]

Edward Norman Baillieu is a former Australian politician who was Premier of Victoria from 2010 to 2013. He was a Liberal Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 1999 to 2014, representing the electorate of Hawthorn. He was elected leader of the Liberal Party in opposition in 2006, and served as Premier from 2010 until 2013 after winning the 2010 state election. He resigned as Premier on 6 March 2013, and was succeeded by Denis Napthine.
Louise Marjorie Asher is a retired Australian politician. She was a Liberal Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 1999 to 2018, representing the electorate of Brighton; she previously served in the Victorian Legislative Council from 1992 to 1999 as member for Monash Province. Asher was the second longest-serving Deputy Leader of the Victorian Liberal Party after Sir Arthur Rylah, and served from 1999 to 2002, and again from 2006 to 2014. She also served as a minister in the Kennett, Baillieu and Napthine governments.
Bernard Thomas Christopher Finn is a former Australian politician who was a member of the Victorian Legislative Council representing the Western Metropolitan Region from the election of November 2006 until he lost in the November 2022 election. He was previously the member for the electoral district of Tullamarine in the Victorian Legislative Assembly from October 1992 until September 1999.
Ryan James Smith is an Australian politician. He has been a Liberal Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly since 2006, representing the electorate of Warrandyte. He was Minister for Environment and Climate Change and Minister for Youth Affairs from 2010 to 2014, serving in both the Baillieu and Napthine governments.
Robert John "Rob" Hudson is a former Australian politician He holds honours degrees in social work and law, and was a member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly for the Labor Party. He was elected to the Bentleigh electorate in the 2002 state election defeating incumbent Inga Peulich, and was re-elected in 2006. Hudson is a supporter of the Hawthorn Football Club.
Peter Lindsay Walsh is an Australian politician. He has been a National Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly since 2002, representing the electorate of Swan Hill until 2014 and Murray Plains thereafter. Walsh was Minister for Agriculture and Food Security and Minister for Water in the Baillieu and Napthine Coalition governments. He has been state leader of the Nationals since 3 December 2014.

Geoffrey Page Shaw is an Australian politician who represented Frankston in the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 2010 to 2014, initially as a member of the Parliamentary Liberal Party until 6 March 2013, and then subsequently as an independent politician. On 17 March 2014 Shaw resigned as a member of the Liberal Party in advance of moves to expel him as a member of the party.
