Christageddon is an unblack metal project, formed by Jesse McKinney of The Synics Awakening.
The band formed on October 10, 2010, by Jesse McKinney, most commonly known as Kristian. Kristian hired on Zack Plunkett as the band's vocalist. Plunkett departed and formed his own project, Abated Mass of Flesh in 2011. Kristian hired vocalist Richard Aguirre to join the fold the same year. The band was featured on a compilation, early on, titled The Killing Fields, which was released by Warclub Records. [1] The project began working on a double album, titled Metal Unblack. [2] The double side of the album, was a tribute to Horde, the first unblack metal band. [2] The album released in 2013, receiving great reviews. [3] [4] Aguirre departed from the band in 2015, leaving the band without a vocalist until 2017. Kristian would then hire on Segør Erskine of the band Blood Covenant. [5] The band released a new track titled "I Am Who I Am" with Erskine on vocals. [5] The two are currently working on a new album. [5]

Horde is an unblack metal solo project of Australian musician Jayson Sherlock, formerly of Mortification and Paramaecium. In 1994, the only studio album, Hellig Usvart, was released on Nuclear Blast Records. With a session line-up, Horde played live in 2006 in Norway and in 2010 in Finland and Germany.
Unblack metal is a religious philosophy and subgenre within black metal, inheriting several characteristics of it, such as the melody, the lyrics and the aesthetics, whose artists either directly oppose the Satanism prevalent in most black metal, or promote Christianity in their lyrics and imagery. Unblack metal artists are controversial within the black metal subculture, because black metal's pioneers, especially those of the Second Wave, were anti-Christian. It is also suggested that Christianity contradicts black metal's dark nature and the individualistic and misanthropic ideals of many bands.
Bruce Patrick Fitzhugh is an American musician. He is the second lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and founding member of Arkansas's Christian metal band Living Sacrifice. The lead vocalist role was left to Bruce shortly after the departure of Darren Johnson and prior to the recording of Living Sacrifice's 1997 album, Reborn. Fitzhugh is featured in Zao's The Lesser Lights of Heaven DVD. Fitzhugh's nephew is Drew Garrison, Vocalist for Descended From Wolves and Becoming Saints.
The Serpent Servant is the second studio album by American Christian deathcore band Impending Doom. They worked with the metalcore band As I Lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis and his production partner Daniel Castleman to record the album. The album was released in the US on March 31, 2009, from Facedown Records and on March 30, 2009, through Siege of Amida Records.
Jump Ship Quick is an American and a Canadian Christian hardcore band that primarily plays hardcore punk and punk rock. They come from Denver, Colorado and British Columbia, Canada. The band started making music in 2005, and their members are lead vocalist and bassist, Nic, guitarists, Jeff and Dave, and drummer, J. Their first studio album, Where Thieves Cannot Tread, was released in 2012 by Thumper Punk Records in association with Punk Roxx Records.
Hippos of Doom is an American Christian hardcore band, and they primarily play hardcore punk and punk rock. They come from Huntington Beach, California. The band started making music in 2013, and their members are lead vocalist and bassist, Old Hippo, lead guitarist and background vocalist, The Masked Hippo, left handed guitarist and background vocalist, Captain Hippo, and left handed drummer, Indiana Jak. Their first extended play, Road Trip, was released in 2013 by Thumper Punk Records.
Vials of Wrath are an American Christian metal band, who play a mixture of unblack metal and death metal music, with one member Dempsey "DC" Woodrow Mills Jr. He is from Princeton, West Virginia, however the band was formed in 2011 in Charlotte, NC. The band has released three studio albums, Seeking Refuge in 2013, Days Without Names in 2015, and Dark Winter Memories in 2019. The project has released four extended plays, Vials of Wrath, in 2011, Let There Be Light, in 2013, Ataraxia and The Ways of Old in 2018.
Promise Land is a Christian symphonic metal band that originated in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and formed in 1997. It went on an unofficial hiatus around 2009. In 2010 there was a resurgence in the band.
Hortor is a Mexican extreme unblack metal band originated in Mexico City, Mexico in March 2004. The band's name translated in English means "Animate". Members have been involved in multiple projects including Freddy Acosta for his solo project, Impaled Baphomet. On one of their full-length albums, they covered a song by one of their unblack metal influences, Horde. The band has released four studio albums, an EP, a split album, a compilation album, and a demo.
Abated Mass of Flesh is an American brutal death metal band formed in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, in 2011. The band consists of vocalist Matthew Plunkett, guitarist Zack Plunkett, bassist Grant Alan and drummer James Atchison. They have been compared to Devourment, Dying Fetus, Impending Doom and Crimson Thorn.
Skald in Veum are a Swedish unblack metal band. They have released one extended play, 1260 Days (2015), with Rottweiler Records and SkyBurnBlack Records and a studio album, Stridslysten, via Rottweiler in 2019.
Schaliach was a Christian metal band formed by Peter Dalbakk and Ole Børud from Hamar, Norway. Dalbakk served as the band's vocalist, while Børud handled all the instrumentation. In 1995, the duo released a 3-song demo. The following year, they debuted with a studio album, Sonrise, in 1996 through Petroleum Records. Three songs from that recording were then featured on the Rowe Productions compilation album Northern Lights: Norwegian Metal Compilation, which was also released in 1996. The band also contributed the song "Purple Filter" to the compilation album In the Shadow of Death: A Scandinavian Extreme Music Compilation, released in 2000 through Endtime Productions. "Purple Filter" was also included as a bonus track on the 2005 re-lease of Sonrise. Dalbakk was also part of the unblack metal band Vardøger, and Børud had joined the progressive death metal band Extol and also started a career as a solo artist. The two artists would years later, in 2015, team up again to found the progressive death metal project Fleshkiller.

Elgibbor or Fire is an unblack metal project by Jarek Pozarycki that started in 1999. The band went on a hiatus around 2017, but reconvened with a full-lineup in 2020, consisting mostly of former live members.
