Christageddon is an unblack metal project, formed by Jesse McKinney of The Synics Awakening.
The band formed on October 10, 2010, by Jesse McKinney, most commonly known as Kristian. Kristian hired on Zack Plunkett as the band's vocalist. Plunkett departed and formed his own project, Abated Mass of Flesh in 2011. Kristian hired vocalist Richard Aguirre to join the fold the same year. The band was featured on a compilation, early on, titled The Killing Fields, which was released by Warclub Records. [2] The project began working on a double album, titled Metal Unblack. [3] The double side of the album, was a tribute to Horde, the first unblack metal band. [3] The album released in 2013, receiving great reviews. [4] [5] Aguirre departed from the band in 2015, leaving the band without a vocalist until 2017. Kristian would then hire on Segør Erskine of the band Blood Covenant. [1] The band released a new track titled "I Am Who I Am" with Erskine on vocals. [1] The two are currently working on a new album. [1]

Frost Like Ashes is a unblack metal band that formed in Kansas City, Missouri in 2001. The band has released two EPs - Born to Pieces and Pure as the Blood Covered Snow - and a full-length album, Tophet, and their songs have appeared on three compilation albums. Previously signed to Psycho Acoustix Records and currently to Sullen Records, an imprint of Open Grave Records, their music combines elements of black metal, death metal and thrash metal with keyboards and virtuosic vocals notable for "switching between about 10 different extreme styles within a given song." Their lyrics have achieved attention for their harsh output, providing a Biblical point of view for the regular, cruel themes of black metal music. The band is also controversial for using the typical corpse paint style often associated with the black metal visuals.
Unblack metal is a religious philosophy and subgenre within black metal whose artists either directly oppose the Satanism prevalent in most black metal, or promote Christianity in their lyrics and imagery. Unblack metal artists are controversial within the black metal subculture, because black metal's pioneers, especially those of the Second Wave, were anti-Christian. It is also suggested that Christianity contradicts black metal's dark nature and the individualistic and misanthropic ideals of many bands.
Deliverance is an American Christian thrash metal band which later shifted more towards heavy metal and progressive metal. Founded by Jimmy P. Brown II in 1985, many members have either stayed in the lineup for a number of years, or left and returned to the lineup. Jimmy P. Brown II has been the only constant member of Deliverance.
False Idle is an American Christian hardcore band from Boise, Idaho. The band started making music in 2010, and their members are lead vocalist and guitarist, Sef Idle, lead guitarist and background vocalist, Tyler Lewis, bassist and background vocalist, Seth Warren, and drummer and background vocalist, Phil Harris. The band has released four extended plays, Hymns of Punk Rock Praise, in 2010, I Refuse, in 2011, California or Bust, in 2013, and a split EP with the band, A Common Goal, Split Decision, in 2014, all with Thumper Punk Records. Their first full-length studio album, Threat, was released in 2013 by Thumper Punk Records.
Jump Ship Quick is an American and a Canadian Christian hardcore band that primarily plays hardcore punk and punk rock. They come from Denver, Colorado and British Columbia, Canada. The band started making music in 2005, and their members are lead vocalist and bassist, Nic, guitarists, Jeff and Dave, and drummer, J. Their first studio album, Where Thieves Cannot Tread, was released in 2012 by Thumper Punk Records in association with Punk Roxx Records.
Vials of Wrath are an American Christian metal band, who play a mixture of unblack metal and death metal music, with one member Dempsey "DC" Woodrow Mills Jr. He is from Princeton, West Virginia, however the band was formed in 2011 in Charlotte, NC. The band has released three studio albums, Seeking Refuge in 2013, Days Without Names in 2015, and Dark Winter Memories in 2019. The project have released four extended plays, Vials of Wrath, in 2011, Let There Be Light, in 2013, Ataraxia and The Ways of Old in 2018.
Rottweiler Records is a Christian metal record label based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. The label features bands such as Lust Control, Soul Embraced, The Jericho Harlot, and Pantokrator. The label started early on as a label that served punk rock, but has become a label that serves metal and punk. It is a Christian label, and therefore many of its artists are as well. The label was created by Shawn Browning, also known as Wretched of Grave Robber. Many bands on the label have placed high on CMW's charts and have had many positive reviews. The label participates in several compilations, including Kill the Ill a benefit comp for Rottweiler's owner Shawn Browning, and Metal Pulse: A Tribute to Dale Huffman.
Promise Land is a Christian symphonic metal band that originated in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and formed in 1997. It went on an unofficial hiatus around 2009. In 2010 there was a resurgence in the band.
Hortor is a Mexican extreme unblack metal band originated in Mexico City, Mexico in March 2004. The band's name translated in English means "Animate". Members have been involved in multiple projects including Freddy Acosta for his solo project, Impaled Baphomet. The band is releasing a new album in 2016.
Abated Mass of Flesh is a Christian death metal band that originated in 2011 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The band has consisted of vocalist Matthew, lead guitarist Zack Plunkett, rhythm guitarist Thomas and drummer Riley Wingate, bassists Max Tubville and Logan Hayworth, and drummer Kade Dodson. The band has released four studio albums, seven EPs and one live EP.
