Christian Hudson (born 1996) is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Airdrie, Alberta. He gained international fame for his single "Four Leaf Clover" in 2017. Hudson was the winner of the 2015 Calgary Stampede Talent Search, where the then 18-year-old donated his prize money to charity. [1] [2] In the fall of 2017, he completed his first national tour across Canada.
Hudson earned the top prize of $10,000 in the 2015 Calgary Stampede Talent Search after his performance of Nina Simone's Be My Husband. After his win, he donated his prize to a Calgary homeless shelter. This gesture earned praise from international media outlets as well as judge and businessman turned philanthropist W. Brett Wilson who was moved to donate to the shelter as well. [3]
His first single, "Four Leaf Clover," made its way onto mainstream Canadian airwaves in summer 2017 after garnering 2 million Spotify streams in Canada. [4] It has been remixed by internationally renowned DJ Benny Benassi.[ citation needed ] The single was certified Gold in 2022 by Music Canada. [5]

Scotiabank Saddledome is a multi-use indoor arena in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Located in Stampede Park in the southeast end of downtown Calgary, the Saddledome was built in 1983 to replace the Stampede Corral as the home of the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League, and to host ice hockey and figure skating at the 1988 Winter Olympics.

Stampede Wrestling was a Canadian professional wrestling promotion based in Calgary, Alberta. For nearly 50 years, it was one of the main promotions in western Canada and the Canadian Prairies. Originally established by Stu Hart in 1948, the promotion competed with other promotions such as NWA All-Star Wrestling and Pacific Northwest Wrestling and regularly ran events in Calgary's Victoria Pavilion, Ogden Auditorium and the Stampede Corral between 1948 and 1984. Bought out by promoter Vince McMahon, the company was briefly run by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) before being sold back to the Hart family the following year. Run by Bruce Hart until January 1990, he and Ross Hart reopened the promotion in 1999 and began running events in the Alberta area.

Joffrey Roy Reynolds is a former professional Canadian football running back. He played eight years for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League where he was the franchise's all-time leading rusher with 9,213 rushing yards. For six consecutive years Reynolds rushed for over 1,000 yards. He was named a CFL All-Star four times and won a Grey Cup championship with the Stampeders in 2008. The Core, which consists of TD Square, the Holt Renfrew building, and the former Calgary Eaton Centre, is the dominant shopping complex located in the downtown core of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It spans three city blocks and contains approximately 160 retailers on four levels. The property also contains four major office towers and the historic Lancaster Building. It is the hub of downtown Calgary's +15 skywalk system, and as such is the busiest shopping centre in the city by pedestrian count, with around 250,000 visitors passing through each week. He has won many of the elite rodeos, including the Calgary Stampede, the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, the Reno Rodeo, the Cody Stampede, and the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
The Calgary White Hat is a white felt cowboy hat which is the symbol of both the Calgary Stampede annual rodeo and the city of Calgary. Created by Morris Shumiatcher, owner of Smithbilt Hat Company, it was worn for the first time at the 1946 Stampede. In the early 1950s, Mayor of Calgary Donald Hugh Mackay began presenting the white hat to visiting dignitaries, a tradition that the mayor's office continues to this day. Thousands of tourists and groups also participate in "white hatting ceremonies" conducted by Tourism Calgary and by volunteer greeters at the Calgary International Airport. In 1983, the Calgary White Hat was incorporated into the design of the flag of Calgary.
