Christian Myklebust (born 11 March 1992) is a retired Norwegian footballer who played for Aalesunds FK. [1]

He played youth football for Skedsmo FK before joining Lillestrøm SK's recruit setup in 2009. [2] [3] In 2010 he joined Aalesunds FK, made his debut in a 2010 Norwegian Football Cup match and scored a goal. [4]

After four more seasons in Aalesund his career was put to an indefinite halt owing to injuries. He made a brief comeback for minnows Emblem IL in 2016. [5] He went on to study at the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen and play for the school's competitive fifth-tier team NHH FK. [2]

The 2014 season was Aalesunds FK's eight consecutive season in the Tippeligaen, and their second season was with Jan Jönsson as their manager. They finished the season in 7th position, and reached the Fourth round of the Norwegian Cup, where they were defeated by Lillestrøm.

The 2015 Tippeligaen was the 71st completed season of top-tier football in Norway. The competition began on 6 April 2015, one week later than in the previous season. A short summer-break in June was scheduled between the rounds played on 12 July and 26 July, and the decisive match was played on 8 November 2015. Molde were the defending champions. Sandefjord, Tromsø and Mjøndalen joined as the promoted clubs from the 2014 1. divisjon. They replaced Brann, Sogndal and Sandnes Ulf who were relegated to the 2015 1. divisjon.

The 2015 season was Aalesunds FK's ninth consecutive season in the Tippeligaen. They finished the season in 10th position, whilst also reaching the Third Round of the Norwegian Cup, where they were defeated by Hødd.
