Christopher M. Still (born 1961) is a painter of Florida's wildlife, people and landscapes. [1] He has worked out of Dunedin, Florida, and has a gallery in Tarpon Springs, Florida. His career was honored in 2010 with induction into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame.
Still received a commission for ten large paintings covering the history of Florida for the Florida House of Representatives. [2] That project is discussed in a section in Jeff Klinkenberg's book Seasons of Florida .
According to his website, Still is a Florida native, attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts on a full scholarship won through a national competition, studied human anatomy at Jefferson Medical School and apprenticed in traditional techniques in Florence, Italy. The website also states he won a European Travel Fellowship and the Pennsylvania Governor's Award for outstanding accomplishment in Fine Art, before returning to Tampa Bay in 1986.

The Henry B. Plant Museum is located in the south wing of Plant Hall on the University of Tampa's campus. It is located at 401 West Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa, Florida. Plant Hall was originally built by Henry B. Plant as the Tampa Bay Hotel; a 511-room resort-style hotel that opened on February 5, 1891, near the terminus of the Plant System rail line, also forged and owned by Plant. The Plant Museum's exhibits focus on historical Gilded Age tourism in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, the elite lifestyle of the hotel's guests, and the Tampa Bay Hotel's use during the Spanish–American War. As such, the Plant Museum is set up in the Historic House Museum style. Exhibits display artifacts in a manner that reflects the original placement and usage within the related historic building.
John Broward "Brad" Culpepper is an American former professional football player who was a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) from 1992 to 2000. Culpepper was as an All-American when he played college football for the Florida Gators. Selected late in the tenth round of the 1992 NFL draft, he became a consistent starter for the Minnesota Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Chicago Bears.

Most of the region's professional sports franchises use the name "Tampa Bay", which is the name of a body of water, not of any city. This is to emphasize that they represent the wider metropolitan area and not a particular municipality and was a tradition started by Tampa's first major sports team, the original Tampa Bay Rowdies, when they were founded in 1975.
The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art (LRMA) is a modern and contemporary art museum located on the campus of St. Petersburg College in Tarpon Springs, Florida. The museum houses a permanent collection which includes paintings by Abraham Rattner and contemporary Florida sculpture including modern art by Abraham Rattner, Esther Gentle, and Allen Leepa, as well as by Rattner's contemporaries, Pablo Picasso, Henry Moore, Marc Chagall, Auguste Herbin, Georges Rouault, Hans Hofmann, and Max Ernst.
Allen Leepa (1919–2009) was an American artist, author, and educator from Michigan and Florida. He was born on January 9, 1919, in Brooklyn, New York, and died on June 26, 2009, in New Port Richey, Florida. He was a benefactor of the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art and some of his works are included in its permanent collection. Esther Gentle was his mother and Abraham Rattner was his stepfather. He studied at the Hans Hoffman School and the Bauhaus School of Design. His art includes abstract paintings, lithographs, sculptures and sketches. He won a Childe Hassam Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

Ashley Brooke Moody is an American politician, attorney, and former jurist serving as the junior United States senator from Florida since 2025. A member of the Republican Party, she served as the 38th attorney general of Florida from 2019 to 2025, as a circuit court judge in Hillsborough County from 2007 to 2017, and before that as an assistant U.S. attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Middle District of Florida.
