Laos competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London when the event took place from 27 July to 12 August 2012. It was the nation's eighth overall appearance following their Olympic debut in 1980. Overall, Inthavong had the highest ranking for Laos in 2012 with a 56th place finish.
