Chundi Ramgha is a village which lies in Bhanu Municipality, Tanahun District, Nepal. Actually Chundi is the name of river (Chundi River), which flows through the lower lands of Ramgha base.
The first poet of Nepali language hence known as Aadikavi (early poet) Bhanubhakta Acharya was born in Chundi Ramgha. [1] [2] Nara Nath Acharya, who wrote the Authentic Biography of Bhanubhakta Acharya [3] was also born and lived in this village. [4]
Bhanubhakta Acharya was a Nepali writer, poet, and translator. He is widely regarded as the first poet in the Nepali language, for which he was conferred with the title of "Aadikabi": literally, "the first poet".
Tanahun District, a part of Gandaki Province, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. The district lies in central Nepal, with Damauli as its district headquarters. It covers an area of 1,546 km2 (597 sq mi) and has a population (2011) of 323,288. Previously the town of Bandipur was its district headquarter. The postal code of Tanahun is 33900.

PanditKavirajNara Nath Acharya (1906–1988) was a Nepalese Pandit, Kaviraj and writer of Sanskrit and Nepali language. He is best known for his biography of the poet Bhanubhakta Acharya, first published in 1960. He was a grand nephew of Bhanubhakta Acharya.
Motiram Bhatta (1866–1896) was a Nepalese poet, singer, essayist, publisher, literary critic and biographer. He is considered the first biographer and literary critic of Nepali literature and is credited for starting the first private printing press in Nepal in c. 1888. He also introduced the Ghazal style of poetry and singing in Nepal. Bhatta was a polyglot and alongside Nepali, he had studied in Sanskrit, Persian, English and was also proficient in Bengali, Urdu and Nepal Bhasa.

The academy commissions research and aims to promote the development of cultural and intellectual endeavour by coordinating national and international activities.

Bhanu is a municipality of Tanahun District in Gandaki Province of western Nepal. The municipality was established on 19 September 2015 by merging the existing Bhanu village development committee or VDC, Barbhanjyang VDCs, Rupakot (VDC), Tanahunsur Village Development Committee, Purkot VDC, Mirlung VDC, Satiswara VDC, Risti VDC, Basantapur VDC and Chok Chisapani VDC. The center of the municipality is established in former VDC Office of Bhanu. After merging the population of all of the VDCs, it had a total population of 46,179 according to 2011 Nepal census. After the government decision the number of municipalities has reached 217 in Nepal. Nepali poet Bhanubhakta Acharya was born in Bhanu Municipality. It was named after him.
The Chundi is a small river located in the western part of the Tanahun District of Nepal. It starts from around the Chandrawati Territory, which lies in Bhanu Municipality. Joined by several tributaries, it flows roughly 18 km in a north-to-south direction to its confluence with the River Marshyangdi near Bimalnagar. The river served as the border between Bhanu VDC and Barbhanjhyang VDC until 2015, when the two were merged to form Bhanu Municipality.
Acharya is a surname or upādhi also called warrior Brahmins who have much more skills and strategies for victory of a war and so on examples in the history which are mainly found in the South Asian countries of India, Bangladesh and Nepal.
Modanath Prasrit, also Modnath Prasrit is a Nepali writer, politician and political activist. A long time member of the Nepali communist movement, he became the Minister of Education in 2054 BS. His writings reflect his communist ideology. His book Devasur Sangram is particularly noted for its challenge to Hindu orthodoxy.
Bhanubhakta Ramayana, commonly known as Ramayan, is the Nepali translation of Valmiki Ramayana by Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya. It was posthumously published in its complete form in 1887. It is widely considered to be the first Nepali epic. The prose style of the epic has been termed Bhanubhaktiya Laya since it was completely original in Nepali literature, being the first work. Due to this distinction, the author, poet Bhanubhakta Acharya is known as Adikavi in Nepal.
Professor Jaya Raj Acharya is a former ambassador of Nepal to the United Nations from 1991 to 1994, a scholar, author and lecturer at Tribhuvan University. He is a prominent foreign policy expert especially in Nepal's relations with India and China. He's raised awareness of Nepal's education, state of Nepali politics etc. in international forums. He's done numerous TV appearances in the Nepali Media. During his tenure at the United Nations, Acharya was the chairperson of the UN’s anti-apartheid committee.
Ghansi or Ghasi was a Nepali grasscutter who is best remembered for inspiring Bhanubhakta Acharya to translate the Sanskrit epic Ramayana into the Nepali language. He made money by cutting grass and selling it. Ghansi built a well in order to be remembered after his death. Not much is known about him except that he belonged to the Pantha caste and lived near the well. He has been portrayed by multiple actors in film, and the tourist destination Ghansikuwa was named after him.
Surya Bikram Gyawali was a Nepali historian. He wrote biographies for numerous people including King Prithvi Narayan Shah and writer Bhanubhakta Acharya. Gyawali also served as a head teacher in Darjeeling. He is also a recipient of the Order of Gorkha Dakshina Bahu, the Order of Tri Shakti Patta, and the Tribhuvan Puraskar (1971).
The Birke topi, birkhe topi or Bhanubhakta-styled topi is a traditional cap worn in the western hilly region of Nepal. It was popularized by the poet Aadikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya.
Bhanu Jayanti is an observance annually celebrated on the 29th day of the Nepali month of Ashadha to commemorate Nepali writer Bhanubhakta Acharya who translated the epic Ramayana from Sanskrit to Nepali for the first time. During the observance, many people add a garland to statues of Bhanubhakta, participate in the parades, and remember his contribution to the Nepali language.
