The Chunsa Film Art Awards (also known as the Icheon Chunsa Film Festival) have been presented in South Korea since the founding of the prize by the Korea Film Directors' Society in 1990. [1]

Jeon Do-yeon is a South Korean actress. She won Best Actress at the 60th Cannes Film Festival, making her the first Korean actress to win an acting award at Cannes, and Best Performance by an Actress at the 1st Asia Pacific Screen Awards for her performance in Lee Chang-dong's 2007 film Secret Sunshine. Many young actresses have cited Jeon as a role model.
The Chunsa Film Art Awards have been presented in South Korea since the founding of the prize by the Korea Film Directors' Society in 1990. The awards take their name from the pen name of the early Korean actor and filmmaker from the silent film era, Na Woon-gyu. Prizes are given for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best New Director, Best New Actor, Best New Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Music/Score, Best Lighting, Best Editing, Best Art Direction, and Technical Award.

Park So-dam is a South Korean actress. She came into popular recognition in the 2015 film The Priests and the TV series' Cinderella with Four Knights (2016) and Record of Youth (2020). She achieved international fame for her role in the 2019 critically acclaimed Korean comedy thriller film Parasite, which won the Palme d'Or at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival and the Academy Award for Best Picture.
Woo Moon-gi, is a South Korean film director. The 56th Grand Bell Awards, also known as Daejong Film Awards, is determined and presented annually by The Motion Pictures Association of Korea for excellence in film in South Korea. The Grand Bell Awards were first presented in 1962 and have gained prestige as the Korean equivalent of the American Academy Awards. The ceremony was originally scheduled to be held on February 25, 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ceremony was held on June 3, 2020.
Kim Bora is a South Korean filmmaker. Her short film, The Recorder Exam won numerous awards including the Best Student Filmmaker Award from The Directors Guild of America. The film was also a National Finalist for the 2012 Student Academy Awards. Kim’s debut feature House of Hummingbird received production support from the Korean Film Council, Seoul Film Commission and Asian Cinema Fund of Busan International Film Festival. The film received post-production support from the Sundance Institute’s Feature Film Program and was selected as an IFP Narrative Lab Fellow. It premiered at the Busan International Film Festival, where it won the NETPAC award and the KNN Audience award. The film went on to collect 59 awards from prestigious festivals, including Berlinale, Tribeca, BFI London, Istanbul, Jerusalem, and a Blue Dragon award—Korea’s equivalent of an Oscar.

The nominations for 15 categories were announced for the Korean films released from October 15, 2021 to October 30, 2022 on November 8, 2022, Decision to Leave got 13 nominations in 13 categories, and won 7 awards including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Music, and Popular Star Awards.
