Cinemart is a Czech film company founded in 1992 as Lucernafilm. It changed to its current name in 1995. [1] Cinemart was a minor film distributor with only 1% share on the market. [2] It changed when Cinemart took over US partners of Bontonfilm becoming one of largest film distribution companies in the Czech Republic. [3] They are the current distributors for Universal Pictures films in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

As of 2022 Cinemart holds 34.5% market share being the largest Czech film distributor. [4]

The video game industry in the Czech Republic has produced numerous globally successful video games such as Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis and the subsequent ArmA series, the Mafia series, Truck Simulator series, the Kingdom Come: Deliverance series, the Samorost series and others. There were 300–400 video game developers and around 30 video game companies focusing on video game development in 2014. In 2017 it was 1,100 developers and 47 companies. Video games are also considered by some experts to be the country's biggest cultural export. The video game industry did not enjoy a good reputation and was unsupported by the state until 2013, when the Ministry of Industry and Trade started to seek ways to kickstart the economy. By 2014, programs were planned to support the video game industry. Another problem is a lack of video game development specialization at any university.

At present, he is the sole owner of Sev.en Energy Group, a major player in the Czech energy market which is planning to expand to the European energy market. His wealth is estimated at US$1.03 billion, which according to Forbes magazine makes him the fifth richest person in the Czech Republic. Together with his wife, Pavel Tykač is significantly engaged in charity projects and support for the North Bohemian Region and the Pardubice Region.

AURES Holdings, a.s., runs the AAA AUTO used car outlets in the Czech Republic, where most of its business is located. It also has branches in Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. Rekola is a bicycle sharing system in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It started in Prague in 2013 as a small project of Vít Ježek. As of 2020, it is operating in six Czech cities, Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia and in the Finnish city of Vaasa. The company is operating more than 2,000 bikes, most of which are located in Prague. The daily ridership in 2018 was 4,700 people. The pink bikes of Rekola do not have any docks, which makes the system five times cheaper than traditional dock system. The bikes can be unlocked through an official app. The user unlocks the bikes manually through the code which is given from the app.

Bontonfilm is a Czech film company. It was founded in 1994 by transformation from Lucernafilm Video.

Falcon a.s. is a Czech film company founded in 1994. It focuses on distribution of Czech and foreign films. It distributed box office hits including Anděl Páně 2 or Avengers: Endgame. Falcon is one of main film distributors in the Czech Republic along with Cinemart, Vertical Entertainment a.s. and Bontonfilm. Its main rival is Cinemart.

Dermacol is a Czech personal care company founded in 1966 in Prague. It is the leading Czech manufacturer and seller of make-up and decorative and skin cosmetics. In the 1960s, the company introduced one of the first make-up covers in Europe and in the world in general.

Livesport Ltd. is a Czech based media and technology company headquartered in Prague, founded in 2006 by Martin Hájek and Jiří Mareš. Livesport provides websites and mobile apps with live scores, sports news, statistics and other information from over 35 major sports. <i>Arvéd</i> 2022 Czech film

Arvéd is a 2022 Czech psychological mystery drama directed by Vojtěch Mašek. It is loosely based on life of Jiří "Arvéd" Smíchovský. Film is inspired by a Faustian theme, telling a story of how far a person can go to achieve their goal. The filmmakers want Smíchovský's character to confront two totalitarian regimes which he was involved with as he collaborated with both.

Buko is a 2022 Czech comedy drama film starring Anna Cónová. Directed and written by Alice Nellis, it tells story of a search and need for freedom on a farm. The title role was played by eponymous domestic horse. The film premiered on 7 July 2022 at the 56th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Cinemart released the film in theatres on 29 September 2022.
