Claes Thunbo Christensen (born 25 January 1953) is a Danish sailor. He competed in the Tempest event at the 1976 Summer Olympics. [1]

At 24 and 25, Sponcil and Claes, respectively, were the youngest beach volleyball team to represent the USA since its inception as an Olympic sport in 1996.
